From the viewings and calls with Vicki in the early days to Heather’s superb work getting all the players in a tricky chain to coordinate and get things across the finish line, the entire process has felt stress free and in safe hands. The team are warm, friendly and personable, they know their stuff and are a joy to deal with. I can’t speak highly enough of them *****
16th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Found all the team at the Sage office in Cwmbran very helpful and proactive from the initial valuation, through to the sale of this property, dealing with a number of changes along the way and resolving questions raised effectively to achieve completion.
10th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)Pink move has been purchased by Peter Alan, nobody told me anything. Property has been in the market for 6 weeks with still not sign on the property, zero communication from agency. Thinking to give the property to a different agent.

Jeanne Fry went above and beyond to help us through a absurdly complicated transaction, that was started by my late father and included a battle with a neighbour over some land, that popped up in the middle. We were fully supported throughout the entire selling process with Chris meeting potential buyers at the house, helping to negotiate the best sale for the house and then communicating with solicitors and our buyer to ensure the sale ran smoothly. We would highly recommend Powells.
28th Mar 2023 (1 year ago)When I initially emailed about a rental property, the response was quick. When it came to my viewing however, I was 7 minutes late due to car trouble and general traffic - I notified the agent 30 minutes ahead of my viewing slot that I may be late. When I arrived she was rude, didn't provide any information on the property, rushed me and in general felt like she didn't take me seriously. She claimed that my email re: my lateness wasn't received - I insisted that it was, she then checked her junk email and found it, and didn't at all apologise for the rude assumption. Overall, I wouldn't recommend at all, I felt like I wasn't taken seriously due to the fact that I am a young renter (24), the customer service is very lacking and the communication was subpar at best.

2nd Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)We put our house on the market with a view to downsize. Hathways came in at our request, took the pictures, did the measuring and arranged for a hear test. Within a few days of being on the market, we had a call to say someone wanted to view it. It was at that point the reality of the situation hit home and my wife decided that after 40 odd years here, she could not give it up. We took it off the market and Hathways were very understanding about it, made no charges against us. Hathways acted in an exemplary and highly professional manor for which we are very grateful and would recommend anyone to use their services. Thank you Hathways.

My husband texted the woman dealing with our house to ask questions and she never got back to him . We couldn't wait for the contract to end,and then we've had to keep texting to get our key back. I think it's been shocking.
