22nd Oct 2025 (25 days ago)Very disappointed with my selling experience with McEwan Fraser. I paid for the upgraded service and definitely did not feel this was value for money. I think all estate agents aren't very good, but I couldn't with a clean conscious suggest McEwan Fraser to anyone. It would often take at least 24hrs for someone to get back in touch with me (sometimes almost a week) and if I called after 6 then the only option was for them to ask someone to call me back the next day. This is one of the key selling points of their upgraded package and it was a total waste of money.
27th Oct 2025 (20 days ago)I had an excellent experience with Jonathan at Westgate Estate Agents. He was professional, friendly, and incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. Jonathan arranged and carried out viewings efficiently, which helped ensure a fast sale. When my house went under offer, he continued to keep me updated and made sure everything moved forward smoothly. Even when the sale was delayed by a week due to the buyer’s solicitor, Jonathan went above and beyond to help get it completed. I’d highly recommend Jonathan and Westgate Estate Agents for anyone looking for a reliable, proactive, and genuinely helpful agent.
29th Oct 2025 (18 days ago)My experience with Walker Laird was very good. We gave them the keys for the house and they showed everyone round the property. Arranging all of the viewings themselves. The house sold within 2 weeks without any problems.

Their team provided expert advice and dedicated support throughout the entire process. I can’t recommend them highly enough! Christopher and the team were always responsive, answering every question and guiding us with expertise. Their dedication was truly impressive, and they went above and beyond to ensure a smooth experience. We also used their recommended conveyancing service, which was seamless and highly efficient. Everything was explained clearly, and they went above and beyond to ensure things ran smoothly. A genuinely great experience.

9th Jun 2019 (6 years ago)Do not trust this company. We dealt with the previous iteration of the owners company and are now being left to clean up their mess. We should have gotten rid of them sooner.... leaving this review in the hope that other landlords won’t have to deal with the loss of over £2000 in rental payments plus the stress of figuring out what to do with our tenant now... even with the loss of rent I still may have left a good review if Amanda and Craig has worked with us to help figure things out (or even provide the tenants details) but the only response to any communication that we have is to essentially gloat that their old company doesn’t exist and there is no recourse for us. Pretty poor behaviour for a human being never mind a business owner.
14th Mar 2025 (8 mo. ago)We moved one week ago and I have given time for the dust to settle before writing this review; however I still feel it would be inaccurate for me to give more than one star. As the buyer you definitely feel you are not as important as the seller. Having viewed in August and being unable to view our property again till the day after missives were concluded added to the stress of the move. We haven't considered reaching out to them regarding some issues we've had since moving in to the property as they had no intention of helping us throughout the process. Possibly a good agent for the seller though.

He’s been instrumental in helping us scale rapidly and is now managing a portfolio of 20 properties for us with complete professionalism. Lewis handles everything from tenant sourcing and compliance to ongoing maintenance and problem-solving, all with an incredible level of care and efficiency. What really sets him apart is his commitment - he genuinely treats each property as if it were his own. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and he’s become a trusted partner (and friend) along the way. He knows this game inside out, and our tenants love him also. Our properties are kept in tip top condition 247, 365 days of the year, and from a business point of view, our rents drop into our account as and when they are received with no issues. Thank you, Lewis - we couldn’t have done it without you!
1st Feb 2019 (6 years ago)After researching all the Estate Agents in my area, I decided to go with LM Properties as they had a good success rate of selling properties. My flat sold in 1 week!!! I cannot praise Lynsey and Robert for all they're professional helpful and friendly service. Highly recommended!- 3rd Jun 2025 (24 weeks ago)This agency is a joke, do not use them as they would not be able to represent you effectively. Any repair you need done in your house would be ignored

I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received from McKirdy Estate Agents From the very beginning, communication was flawless—Lesley and Beth always quick to respond. What really stood out was how they went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Whether it was answering questions, arranging viewings, or handling all the little details, nothing seemed too much trouble. Their dedication made the whole process stress-free, and I truly felt supported every step of the way. We sold at closing date within 10 days. I highly recommend McKirdy for anyone looking to sell!

13th Nov 2025 (3 days ago)I’m big on passive income and always on the lookout for good assets, and Let Property honestly surprised me. Gave them a quick call and they laid out loads of solid investment options with proper returns, not the usual fluff you get from other places. They know their market inside out and make it really easy to compare deals. If you’re into building long-term income, these guys are definitely worth speaking to.

15th Nov 2025 (1 day ago)Extremely unprofessional experience with agent Alan Shields. We had a viewing booked for the 8th, but the agent, Alan Shields, moved it to the 13th because he was on holiday. We accepted this without any issue. On the 13th he informed us that he was travelling to Aberdeen and would contact us later that day to arrange a new viewing time. He never contacted us — we waited the entire day. Later we found out that the flat was already marked as under offer. At no point did he inform us that the property status had changed, even though he knew we were waiting for the rescheduled viewing. On the 14th, around lunchtime, I sent him a message asking for an update. He replied that he would call me “soon”, but he never called at all. We later learned that an offer was made on the 14th. This means we never even had the chance to view the property because the agent failed to keep his commitments and completely failed to communicate. He doesn’t even know how much we would have offered — because he never gave us the opportunity to view the flat or express our interest properly. I can’t believe how some adults behave like children—ignoring responsibilities, making excuses, and causing unnecessary problems. It’s frustrating to see such immaturity and lack of professionalism from someone who should know better. We rearranged our schedules twice and were genuinely interested in the property, but we were never given the opportunity to make an offer. This behaviour is unacceptable and reflects extremely poorly on the agency. I would not recommend them based on this experience.
