Being in the market for a while Iv dealt with many estate agents who keep all cards close to their chest and don’t really bother building a relationship with serious buyers. Nari was different he build a good relationship with me as a buyer and at the same time had the sellers interests first. He managed to balance the situation well. A very transparent estate agent no games nothing. Straight up good man. Would highly recommended.

22nd Oct 2026 (11 days ago)We had a great experience with Charlie from harbour he let us know what was happening throughout the process very helpful in every way sold our property very quickly and got over the asking price also the girl in the office was lovely and so helpfull as we are older and haven't delt with selling for many years they were so helpfull couldn't get any better treatment or service.

The entire process was seamless and hassle-free. A special mention to Vijay, who showed us around the property. He was incredibly professional and welcoming. He gave us plenty of time to look around without any rush and was clear about all the details. It's easy to see that they take customer care very seriously. I'd highly recommend AVJ Home Letting to anyone looking for a rental property!

My mortgage advisor (Alana) was great, she walked me through the process in our first meeting and it really helped demystify the whole thing for a first time buyer like me. Additionally, the viewing agent was really friendly and helpful, with a good amount of local knowledge. Overall I’m really happy with the service I received from Alan & Harris Paisley and would totally recommend.

We agreed that I would authorise with Brutish Gas through my home care contract. Morgan reacted quickly letting the tenant know and the repair happened within 24 hours. Morgan was very pleasant professional and great to deal with. Thanks for your help Morgan. David Whyte

11th Dec 2025 (10 mo. ago)Don’t understand the criteria of application. My son, owns his own business , his wife & 5 really well mannered level headed kids applied for a property after viewing to be told the “owner” decided they were not suitable? No credit searches, no full application only how many occupants. Is this discrimination against have a large family and assuming they’re reliant on benefits? He has private rented for some 15 years and never missed a payment. Maybe Clyde should work a bit harder to satisfy owners & renters.
20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)This is the third time I have used Castle Residential to find a tenant for a rented property. Again, a first class service. A new tenant was found very quickly and the process of getting them into their new home was smooth and efficient, which included important advice on the legal compliance aspects. When this tenancy eventually ends, I'll be going back to Castle to re-let.
6th Aug 2026 (13 weeks ago)Unfortunately, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very disappointing, mainly because of poor communication and a lack of professionalism throughout the process.<br>Before our house was put on the market, Amanda was very confident that she could achieve a certain price for our property. However, our first concern was when the photos were taken using a phone rather than professional camera equipment. Although phone cameras are good these days, the photos did not have the quality we expected for selling a property. When the advert went live, there were too many photos, and some did not show the house in the best way.<br><br>The biggest problem for us was communication. After the first week, it became difficult to get updates. There were very few viewings, and things did not improve while we were with them. Calls often went unanswered, and promised call-backs rarely happened. We often felt like we were chasing them for information rather than being kept updated.<br><br>After around three weeks of frustration, we decided to end our agreement with them. What disappointed us most was that there was no real effort to understand why we wanted to leave. We were simply asked to pay the marketing fee so the property could be taken off the market. Once we paid, the only reply we received was confirmation of payment and a short “good luck” message.<br>After this, I noticed I had been blocked on WhatsApp and social media. I also emailed about removing the “For Sale” sign but received no reply or confirmation that this had been arranged.<br><br>Overall, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very poor. Based on what we experienced, I would not recommend them to others. The level of communication, professionalism and customer service was not what we expected when selling our home.

We required a quick sale and Joe, Ellie and Eilidh made sure this went through without any issue. Would recommend Hames to anyone buying or selling.

6th Oct 2026 (27 days ago)We recently sold our home through Douglas & Dean and honestly couldn’t be happier with the service we received from start to finish.<br><br>Andy and Nicola and Jake of course were fantastic. Having lived there myself for over 18 years, selling was a big decision for me and there was naturally a lot of emotion attached to moving on. They handled everything professionally, while still giving the process a really personal touch.<br><br>The first people to view my house made an offer and I ended up with exactly what I was hoping to achieve. They were first-time buyers and, from the outset, seemed like ideal buyers for our home, so we were delighted.<br><br>Then came the task of finding a new home.<br>A special mention has to go to Andy, who helped us well before we had even found the property we eventually moved to. When we were trying to secure another property, Andy went above and beyond to help us, and the effort he put in during what was a particularly stressful time was genuinely appreciated. Although that purchase ultimately didn’t work out, despite all of our best efforts, Andy continued to be incredibly helpful and supportive, and we always felt that he genuinely wanted to help us find the right outcome. This included reaching out on social media on our behalf.<br><br>The sale itself wasn’t always straightforward, particularly towards the end, but Andy and Nicola remained helpful, approachable and persistent throughout. Their communication and willingness to go the extra mile made what could have been a very stressful process considerably easier.<br><br>We’re now happily settled into our new home and can look back on the whole process knowing that we had a great team behind us.<br><br>A huge thank you to Andy, Nicola and everyone at Douglas & Dean. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

1st Nov 2026 (1 day ago)Lesley was recommended by a few different people and our friends who had worked with her before, achieving excellent results. We chose to move from a well know high street agency to McKirdy on the strength of these recommendations. Lesley was so responsive, almost immediately on first contact calling and giving straightforward clear advice. She was completely honest, down to earth, friendly and we felt at ease and confident with her and her agency right away. She visited our property that same day, in the evening, on her own time, spending at least two hours with us, advising on changes to presentation of the house and other aspects to help get a successful sale. We followed these exactly. This advice felt to us more relevant than what had been explained to us by our original agent The house was sold shortly thereafter, and we believe that all the changes recommended by Lesley and the many calls with her answering all of our questions contributed 100% to that sale. In summary I cannot recommend McKirdy Estate Agents enough!
