24th May 2025 (21 days ago)We did all the leg work. Long contract very few viewings. Lack of communication no updates unless we chased them. Seemed to just give up trying to market our property within weeks. Total waste of time. Avoid

30th May 2025 (15 days ago)Both my wife and I were considering putting our house on the market. Our intention being to re-locate to Essex to be closer to our family. We had no idea what our house was worth and needed an indication for a budget. We contacted Abbotts requesting a valuation. Nicola Weeds contacted us and made an appointment to visit us. She duly appeared on time and spent over an hour with me looking around our property. She was extremely personable and professional in her approach. I was pleasantly surprised at her valuation, more so as I has a figure in mind and she advised I was well below a reasonable, achievable asking price. We discussed the next stage but due to my wife not being present and our property is in joint names, Nicola explained my wife would need to be present. Nicola came back the following afternoon and reiterated to my wife what she considered was an achievable asking price. She explained the way it would be marketed and the group system of other agents spread over the UK who could be called upon to assist us in finding a suitable property in Essex. Overall Nicole was most helpful and explained everything in detail. The fees involved and the use of solicitors for conveyancing. We chose to use Abbotts Home Conveyancing Service. Nicole has an exceptionally nice, friendly attitude. She clearly comes over as being, knowledgeable and enjoys her work. We very much look forward to her finding us a suitable buyer and to make a sale as trouble free as possible.

He was very lovely and even engaged with my son (about football ????????), when I brought him with me to collect my car. All in all, a very pleasant experience.
4th Aug 2024 (10 mo. ago)Property went "live" and we had 2 viewings within 24 hours. Our property sold the following day. Buyers had to wait 6 months to move as we had to wait for our new property to be completed. Progress updated to buyer on regular basis and sale went through generally without bother (a few usual bumps in the road with solicitors, etc) but all completed successfully.
