Chris has a great understanding of the market in Devon and Cornwall and inspires complete confidence. Emma kept us up to speed on every twist and turn (we had a few!) and was always positive, cheerful and very supportive on a day to day basis. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

18th Jan 2024 (1 year ago)Absolutely awful start to finish. Agent valued the property wrong, wouldn't answer emails, didn't pass on an offer, and messed up the paperwork almost costing the sale. Never experienced such a terrible agency in 30 years and having bought/sold dozens of properties

The whole process was made significantly easier by the excellent staff and especially Antonia and Denise. Our particular transaction was quite tricky at times but Luscombe Maye helped to get the deal over the line by chasing solicitors and maintaining excellent communication between ourselves and the Vendor. We can wholeheartedly recommend Luscombe Maye to anyone buying or selling property within the South Hams as they are a pleasure to deal with and provide an exceptional service.

Stuart, Natalie and team provided an excellent service throughout the purchase process, chasing up both sets of solicitors and keeping everyone updated with progress. Nothing was too much trouble for them, like having follow-up visits to the house to take measurements etc. I would be very happy to deal with this firm again.

His agency stands out from the rest due to his highly personal service; we spoke with or saw only him so felt super confident he was fully engaged and invested in our sale at all times. His comms were also excellent, as were his problem-solving skills and professional partners. The photography was outstanding, with much thought taken in both the planning and execution. Highly recommended!

22nd Feb 2025 (24 days ago)All of the team at Pilkington Estates were friendly and knowledgeable. It was great to be able to call or text and get a prompt response, which is something we were unable to achieve with our previous agent. They were able to sell our property but we did unfortunately take a significant hit. We would have preferred to have achieved more from the sale but we’re pleased to have sold to a couple who fell in love with our home which is great to know as we have invested time, money and love into it during our decade of ownership. Thank you to the team for supporting us in our move!

Just when our chain seemed to be collapsing Mark went above and beyond to renegotiate the whole chain so everyone was happy. And a special shout-out to Emma and Elle whose professionalism and tenacity in the face of considerable challenges kept the wheels on the train and meant we were able to pick up the keys to our dream home today. Their attention to detail and super-responsiveness made us feel like we were their only client. We weren’t of course, but it speaks volumes that we felt like that. It was a rollercoaster ride but they were there through every peak and trough, and not afraid to hold people’s feet to the fire. If you’re thinking of selling your home then you need Team BOP in your corner. Just outstanding.

Wesley's use of graphic analysis and data to pitch at the right place was persuasive. And my initial warm feeling in the office was boosted as each member of the team came individually to the house to understand the features and potential of the property. Lynn (and Caroline) was a fabulous orchestrator of the ‘chain,’ while Jeremy’s undoubted expertise and experience was a key feature in eventually getting over the line. I would thoroughly recommend JulianMarks. Thank you to you all (+ Gemma and Megan (of course!))

16th Mar 2025 (2 days ago)If you are looking for an Estate Agent in Ivybridge I strongly recommend Mr Jon Curtis-Hawker, and his efficient team, at this branch of GTH. Not only did he find a buyer for my parents house almost immediately but because of all the sad circumstances involved for me personally and bearing in mind that I live hundreds of miles away, he went above and beyond in taking care to make sure that the empty house was looked after and that the sale proceeded smoothly. He helped me so much with things that I could not deal with because of the distance and was so reliable and courteous and respectful in every way. Always obtainable and always got back to me even when he was on holiday if it required it. A pleasure to do business with. I am so pleased that I decided to use this branch and in particular Mr Curtis-Hawker. Thank you so very much.
