Their assistance throughout the process, particularly liaising with solicitors, buyers and other agents, has enabled us to sell as smoothly as possible. 27th Oct 2021 (3 years ago)Shut two afternoons in a row with no notice, no info on website, just a handwritten sign in the door. Can't collect Amazon parcels, make PayPoint payments etc as a result. At least keep customers informed online and also inform Amazon so customers don't keep on trying to get items delivered there when the delivery driver can't gain access.
7th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)One month after moving, giving myself time to reflect and consider before writing this review: Dennis, Julie and the team proved to be absolutely amazing throughout the whole process of selling our Crowthorne home, pretty much managing the entire transaction, liasing frequently and closely with ourselves, our solicitors, our sellers estate agents and our buyers estate agents with warmth, compassion, assertive patience, diligence and professionalism. I can think of no criticism, constructive or otherwise, to offer (or cast) and I believe our buyers have experienced the same. Nor am I aware of anyone that I've discussed our move with that has had an experience that has come close. I have, I am and I shall continue to recommend them wholeheartedly.

The team headed up by Ben helped a lot through what was a stressful experience due to the property having some challenges. I have to say how much we appreciated the Virtual Tour facility on the website - it helped a lot with the decision process.- 15th Nov 2021 (3 years ago)Tom Ward was always there to help us and kept us in the loop at all times. He was understanding when hurdles cropped up and always showed patience and compassion to my elderly mother. A great agent in all respects but in this case with assisted living properties.

The most positive experience you could expect. Rebekah and David were fantastic! Going above and beyond to ensure that things ran smoothly throughout.

14th Dec 2023 (1 year ago)Our warehouse lease process was assigned to Kempton Carr Croft property agent Luke Bennett. Completion took longer than anticipated, and it was down to a few required procedures from the landlord's side. During the delay, Luke is quite responsive and easy to reach out to. This communication gave us comfort to know where we are and continue to wait for completion. We are now settling in the new warehouse, and thanks to all the support we had from Luke.
14th Oct 2024 (7 mo. ago)We are having a nightmare with this company. We have now rented a property with them for a year. We turned up to the viewing, sat there for 10 minutes and no one showed. We called the office to be told they forgot to book it in and it would need to be rebooked, we had driven 4 hours to view this property as we were relocating so told them they had to send someone out. We were then rushed through the viewing. We ended up going ahead with the property and had no problems with this part of the process. However, anything that requires any form of management from Martin&Co is horrendous. They have 2 months to complete a gas safety check but left it to the last week they could legally have it done and then Oliver had a go at US for not being able to take a day off work to let them in. We got told it wasn't possible for them to give us a timed slot so we called British Gas ourselves and got told it was possible they just had to request it, M&Co wouldn't, so we did and I was able to work it around my job (but had to organise everything myself). We then got contacted about our yearly inspection, we called and booked it in for my day off, they never showed up. We called to find out that once again, they didn't book it in. We live in Wokingham but half of our communication comes from the Staines branch. We then got emailed 3 days before rent due to say they were changing the account we needed to pay, we went on to set it up and the bank stated it looked like a scam payment based on the account, we contacted the landlord as it was a Sunday and he said he hadn't authorised any bank change, so it did look like a scam! However, after contacting a very rude woman at M&Co they stated THEY were changing the bank account and we have no right to talk to our own landlord and to pay them immediately and we were lying about the warning from the bank (proof attached). We are on a fully managed contract and have had to organise everything ourselves so far, which is ludicrous. We are fed up with communication from this company and would never rent with them again.

Struggles throughout the lower part of the chain tested all of our patience, but they dealt with it perfectly, chasing everything to ensure a smooth completion. Highly recommend Seymour’s blackwater. Although the process took longer than expected due to issues further up the chain (through no fault of our own), Karl was genuine, honest, and kept us informed every step of the way. He was thorough, and whether it was a call back or an email, he always got back to us very quickly. Despite the challenges, Karl did everything he could to keep things moving. It's clear why the agency has such a great reputation in the area. Highly recommended.

Sarah Blake in the Wokingham office was excellent. She has been in regular contact with me and has such a great way with her clients. She has outstanding knowledge of the market to. A big thank you to Lydia Oge as well. When I was getting valuations from various Estate Agents Lydia stood out by miles. She was the reason I decided to come to Sears to Sale my property.

From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Luke was absolutely fantastic—professional, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to keep me informed and reassured throughout. Jan was also incredibly helpful, offering great recommendations for local schools, which made settling into the area much easier. Luke's knowledge, dedication, and personal touch really stood out and it made a huge difference during what turned out to be a really stressful time. He is savvy and has a great talent in working with clients. He supported me during the entire transaction process of finding a good property, putting the offer right up until the end of the sale. Even where the solicitors were not responding, he personally supported where he could to progress the transaction from his side. He was responsive and even went above and beyond to support me with advise and guidance during the full process. He kept myself and the seller notified and assisted in finding solutions when there were delays from the solicitors end so that the deal would not fall through.
