Their communication was good and they've been good throughout the process so far

3rd Jan 2022 (2 years ago)I have only very good things to say about this lovely company. If you are looking for a property to rent then I highly recommend Smith & Co. There's a lot of bad landlords out there but in my experience of renting a property from Smith & Co for many, many years now, I can truly say that you wouldn't go far wrong to rent from this caring, compassionate, understanding, professional and considerate company! I have had many wonderful, trouble free years' renting from Smith & Co. To be honest, I really wouldn't want to rent from anyone else now. Sara and her team are all so lovely! After many years I feel like I'm part of one big Smith & Co family! Top notch!
18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

We choose to use Jordan for selling our house due to her flexible availability in being able to speak to her "out of normal estate agent working hours" she was great from the beginning. The photographer who comes out who takes all the photos and does the floorplan is lovely also.We didn't have the best and easiest experience of selling our house (no fault of Jordan) due to our first buyer pulling out and fobbing us off and not communicating. We were impressed by hearing how easy sales could go though for straight forward properties without chains which obviously we knew wouldn't be the case for us as we were in a 3 way chain, things were dragged out very unnecessary by our new buyers solicitor who dragged the entire process out from start to finish and the leaseholders for the land which made it difficult for us all including our solicitors and Jordan who were amazing. Our buyer didn't make the process the easiest either but Jordan was calm professional and did what she could to ensure things went smooth. My other feedback to suggest would have been for Jordan to employ another member of staff due to how busy she was becoming however that shows how good/ popular she is but I have since seen she is now recruiting for a member to join the team. I will definitely use ready steady move in future. Absolutely love the ready steady move signs that go up which looked amazing. The rates were slightly higher than we were looking at however she matched the price we had been given from another estate agents which we appreciated- thank you so much Jordan for everything.
