20th Aug 2024 (9 weeks ago)I had to leave one star as that is the minimum, but it should be zero. Jonathan showed us around a house we loved the house, had some discussions about the house and price and put a offer in, heard nothing and had to chase, in the end we tracked one of the estate vendor for a farm in Garnant, we were told the advert was wrong that the property was being sold with 1.8 acres rather than the 3.5 or 8 acres on the advert, mentioned to the estate agent jonathan and he didnt seem to care his advert was in correct. Told the vendors about our offer which was later rejected by Jonathan, we put a further offer in, again heard nothing for a long time, tried to phone Jonathan to find out he just forwarded our numbers to his mail box, spoke to the one of the estate vendors about our procedeable position and put offer within 4% bearing in mind the property needed extensive work and had been on the market for more than 2 years and heard nothing back, tried to contact by email, message, phone and nothing. We felt as if it was because I was from South Wales and not from West Wales our offer wasn't even considered or put through to the owners if the house. If you are thinking about buying a property from Jonathan as its only him there I would completely avoid as he won't get back to you and will be a terrible service, I can't believe anyone would want to sell with him, speaking to other estate agents they have heard all kinds of horror stories. Avoid avoid avoid.

1st Oct 2024 (22 days ago)Impressive shop window. Gerald is courteous and honest, but his staff need to pay more attention to enquiries if they're going to improve sales. Not the cheapest, and doesn't advertise on Rightmove.

She went above and beyond, showing us a range of houses and rearranging her days to fit all of our requests in. She was always available at the end of the phone or email throughout the purchase process. Would highly recommend.

10th Jul 2024 (15 weeks ago)Doesn’t know the facts about the houses they’re selling. Lost money finding out a house we had an offer accepted on is under possessory title and on a private road. Two things we didn’t want and questions we asked at the viewing Topped off by driving past one day noticing new scaffolding on the house. Following a phone call to the estate agents asking what’s going on, they lied and told us the house owners are just putting cladding up as decoration. Turns out after visiting the homeowners to find out the truth, they had a huge leak in the gable wall and were putting cladding over the brick wall, effectively like a plaster. Overall a bad experience with Mallard.- 27th Feb 2024 (7 mo. ago)My husband and I attended a what can best be described as an ‘interesting’ viewing with Megan recently. I am a rental landlord I have viewed a large number of properties over the past 14 years and worked with many estate agents. I was very impressed by Megan; she acted with courtesy and great professionalism throughout.
26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
30th Sep 2024 (23 days ago)Viewed and bought our first home with Steve, fantastic estate agent. Steve was very welcoming, his professionalism was second to none. Steve made us feel at ease as we were both first time buyers he really knew his stuff we didn't feel rushed when viewing the house he made sure we viewed everything. Steve was always on hand to answer any questions we had and even when everything had completed he's messaged to check in just to make sure we have settled in ok and if there was anything else he could help us with. The best estate agent we have ever dealt with to be honest. Sullivans are lucky to have Steve. Thank you for everything Steve. Highly recommended to everyone. Jess & David

After getting in touch with Martynas and explaining my situation, he gave me hope that with his help I would find a home. I found him to be professional but also considerate and kind. My experience was extremely positive and I would highly recommend using John Francis.

We used many other local estate agents before turning to Calow Evans for help in February. We had an offer within three weeks and completed in 5 months. Our sale was a complex sale and the compassion and understanding they showed us made the whole process far less stressful for as sellers.Thank you for everything you done for our family, we will forever be grateful
