19th Dec 2022 (1 year ago)I would not recommend using these agents to buy or sell. I would never buy a property from these agents, nor sell a property to anyone involved with these agents again. They are not transparent, lack of clear communication and are willing to have you waiting around for months for nothing to happen. We have purchased multiple properties before and have never dealt with something this bad. Why do you have a sales progression team if you can’t get a sale to progress? This isn’t a one off as it has happened twice now.

19th Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)Kelly seems smart and experienced, however the sales negotiator who was doing the viewings wasn’t very good. I got 6 viewings in the whole time I was listed with them, which they insisted was normal. I Switched agents and got 11 in 48 hours. I just don’t think they have the resources to sell things the way other agents do. I think if your property is exceptional and will sell regardless, they are a good option as they are cheap, but Otherwise they’re best avoided.

13th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)Where do I even begin with how good these people are. I WISH I knew about them sooner. Jo has been amazing since day one. She has literally contact me every day over the last 6 months with updates. She's not afraid to chase people for answers and has worked on her days off and evenings to progress our sale. I have used high street estate agents before, and they don't compare in the slightest. Our transaction has not been the smoothest (not due to Hallways) but Jo not only made sure we got the house of our dreams, but also that we sold our current house for a decent price. I cannot thank her and her team enough and I will continue to recommend her to everyone and anyone that will listen! Jo - you are amazing, professional, caring, driven, an amazing negotiator and you have bent over backwards for us and we will never forget it. From the bottom of our hearts - thank you.

10th Mar 2022 (2 years ago)Estate agents often get a bad name, but Cromwells in Cheam Village have been brilliant. In particular, Nicky Gilbert at Cromwells has been a complete godsend. We had a really difficult purchase and she consistently chased its progress and kept us updated (and kept me calm!), all the while placating our own buyers. I can not thank her enough and can not sing her praises high enough! Many thanks to Nicky (a real asset to the company) and all at Cromwells. I really believe that without Nicky's expertise our chain would have collapsed and we would have had to start all over again.

(2 reviews)12th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)We gave these agents a try but a waste of time - had no knowledge of the local area and used a remote "viewing agent" to oversee viewings who really didn't know the property and certainly not the area. Communication was all one way - from us and unless we asked we heard nothing. When we did speak it all just seemed like typical "sales patter". 13th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)SoSales have an excellent knowledge of the Pocket Living property market. The sad news is that they don't tell you what you're getting into until you've spent many 100s of £££s. By then you'll realise that several mortgage providers won't give you a mortgage on these properties and you'll have wasted time and money (surveyors fees) which could all have been avoided had SoSales decided to tell you upfront about the restrictive covenants. Engage with SoSales only on the basis they agree to tell you ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW up-front.THE PROPERTY BUYING COMPANY LIMITED
