I have an excellent history with the Lettings Department at Bernard Marcus Sutton, Vince and Megan have been superstars ensuring minimal void periods on my properties and professional tenants.
From this experience, I decided to try the sales team for selling my own home and wasn't let down!
Scot Mckirdy valued our property and out of the three agents we invited in, he gave us the most detailed view on the local market, had the most relevant comparable evidence and the most realistic price - which was extremely important as time was of the essence with us having already found our next home! They have been outstanding the whole way through - communicative, attentive and meticulous in their approach, finding us a buyer within 3 weeks of marketing and negotiating up to our asking price for us. We have now exchanged and thanks to Scot and the Sutton team, will be moving to our dream home. Thank you all!
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THESE AGENTS AND VERY POOR SERVICE.
FOUND THEM VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL
I've been reading through some of the reviews on here and frankly many are ill informed or not truly familiar to how a purchase/sale process should be. Buying and selling properties can be an emotional process and the way people vent their frustration at this particular agent comes through quite irrationally through the reviews.
I've used Burn and Warne a couple of times in my life (as well as trying out other estate agents in the process) and I cannot recommend them enough. At the core, they are results driven for both sides, pure and simple.
I've met my fair share of sellers/buyers who try not to play by fair and reasonable rules and expect the estate agents to a) give them 'financial advice' (which an estate agent cannot do) and b) work miracles on price (which they will disappoint if your head is in the wrong place) and then expect the estate agent to speak respectfully and lovingly to them.
Burn and Warne don't waste everyone's time and articulate things in a fair, clear and efficient in their sales process. (Not everyone's cup of tea unfortunately) If you're looking for an agent who will tell it how it is, get on with the job and push their best for a result that reflects accurately where the market is, choose them.
I'm not affiliated with B&W in whatever way, I just want to clarify the reviews in case perfectly rational people get put off by this.
If you want a lovely happy go lucky estate agent who will keep your property on the market for 2+ years and not deliver, then choose someone else. If you want people who will deliver a fair service, choose B&W.
Very unprofessional. Called to buy house but they hung up regardless. Tried to book online but no response
We rented a flat in Sutton through Leaders for 6 years and have always had great experience dealing with the team. Any issues have always been sorted out asap and on their suggestions landlord made improvements to the property on regular basis. Really professional and lovely people to be dealing with. Highly recommend.
Beware of Sutton Branch Sales manager Jones.
He's a Totally Untrustworthy man.
He also suffers from Narcissism 'Mental Disorder'
He is Desperate to get his hands on Your Property Keys
so he can cut a set of Your Keys for himself & use your property.
*DO NOT ISSUE JONES WITH YOUR PROPERTY KEYS AT ANY TIME.
* DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THAT JONES SAYS TO YOUR FACE.
* WE HAD TO GET OUR PROPERTY LOCKS CHANGED & PAID FOR BY HIS AREA MANAGER AFTER OUR COMPLAINTS ABOUT JONES.
They also Delete Bad Reviews.
We bought our property through Foxtons.
Initially we thought of buying the property a few months later and went for viewing just to see the property to get some idea. But we ended up putting an offer after the viewing and decided to buy the property. It was partly due to the negotiating skills of the Sales Negotiator Adam Broholm. He was helpful throughout the process up to a successful completing of the sale in-time as expected.
They never say no to multiple viewings.
I would recommend Foxtons and will definitely use them for any sale or lettings in future.

Lettings Dept. Extremely POOR SERVICE.
They also DELETE BAD Reviews & Lettings Manager is very RUDE.
AVOID this HALFWITS.
We sold in Sept 2017, Jason carried out the valuation. He valued it at exactly what we had in mind. Took excellent photos the same day. By that afternoon, true to his word, our property was on the market. He also suggested a local firm of solicitors, Stratega Law, that he works with. I can honestly say, they were excellent and competitively priced. We sold within the first week.
His team conducted the viewings, in a very professional manner, and it was evident they were working to achieve a sale for us. Heather then maintained contact between our buyers, solicitors and ourselves and at times, I am sure this was not an easy task, but she remained professional and reassuring at all times.
I would be more than happy to recommend Cromwell’s to anyone. We all know buying and selling your property can be extremely stressful but they help you through the whole process. Thanks again to the whole team.

Really terrible experience to work with this agency. We offered one property and was told the vender would give the feedback the day after. My husband called in one day after to ask for the vender's feedback. One of their agent talked with my husband for this case. She told my husband the vender were still considering about our offer at the beginning, then told my husband we were rejected quickly with angry. I can't believe how she could tell two opposite results within a few minutes! She behaved so rude and unprofessional during the conversation, and we felt uncomfortable after talking with her. I think all of the customers should be treated fairly and with respect. based on this point, I don't recommend this agency personally.
