Mann Sutton manage a local property for me. I am based overseas and its important to know things are well looked after and get quick responses to communication. The team there do an excellent job and have been really helpful in managing any issues that have arisen.
Manager was extremely pushy with me, trying to forcing me to offer on something unsuitable for my needs. Didn’t care that it wasn’t right or the fact that we had found somewhere else. He demanded to no where the other property was, how much we had offered and why. Left a bad taste in my mouth, he doesn’t listen . Viewing I had with Charles was spot on, conducted perfectly shame manager spoilt a otherwise perfect experience. Graham stop treating customers poorly, we would have recommended you to friend.
Robin and the team were excellent. I was kept fully informed of progress at all times. Fully professional Team at all times. If you want to sell your house fast PLEASE use them without the fear of time wasters being shown around your home. I asked Robin to sell my house at 11 am on Monday, it was sold for the full price at 12.30 pm on Saturday. I could not have asked for a better service. My partner and I received terrible service on so many level.
We placed an offer on a property which has been accepted by the vendors.
Robin then went on holidays and his colleague Christine took over. Because she deemed we did not respond to one of her e-mail quick enough (we did respond only a few days after she had sent it), she went ahead and sent the property to someone else, without being in touch with us at all.
At no point were we told the vendors had changed their mind or that our offer had been taken down. We therefore continued being in touch with the agency, and were chasing for latest update for nearly two weeks, calling, emailing and leaving messages as we had heard nothing back from Christine, and they never answered.
We only realised the property had been sold to someone else when it was marked on rightmove as STC.
We complained to the agency and finally reached Robin, but no one was even apologetic or sympathetic given the circumstances.
Such a lack of professionalism and communication. This agency clearly tries to sell the quickest they can to get their sales bonus, and respect to buyers definitely does not seem to be part of their vision.
I should add, to illustrate how poor service this agency delivers, that Barbara locked us in the property for 15 min on our first viewing! She knew the key was faulty but decided to lock the door after we had entered the house anyway. We had to come out of the property through the back garden.
There are plenty of agencies out there, please avoid this one!
Having had terrible experiences with other estate agents we reluctantly decided to use Foxtons in Sutton. What a breath of fresh air. Hard working, chasing for buyers and honest with us.
All the staff are amazing but Vygaile has kept us in the loop and given us advice. She is such a hard worker and goes the extra mile. We have had many laughs but value her with ethic.
We have yet to sell our house but it’s not for want of viewings or marketing - the market is volatile.
We have no plans to move from using Foxtons - when you have amazing people looking after you there is no need.
