30th May 2024 (8 weeks ago)Charles Dickens Estate Agents has much experience of the housing market in our locality. A relative purchased a house through them and recommended them. Their service has been good but I was a bit disappointed with the photos of our property. The photos were done very quickly. I think if the photographer had taken more time, the result would have been better.

10th Jul 2024 (17 days ago)Selling a home on behalf of an elderly relative comes with many stresses. Sou was superb, to say the least, going above and beyond repeatedly to help. She understood the complexity of the situation and went out of her way to make the process as easy and as stress free as I could have wished for. As I also didn't live locally to the property, Sou ensured the viewings, were fully taken care of. She provided updates, advice and support in the offer stages, and the house was sold in under a month. Even after the SSTC stage, Sou helped me arrange for access for surveys and trades, etc. Never failing to be the first to update me, ahead of the instructed solicitors. The whole Tamlyns team are professional, yet fully engaged in making the process as smooth as possible. I would not hesitate in recommending Sou and the Tamlyns team for a house sale/ purchase. Thank you for your help and kindness.

Pleasure to deal with the description and picture are a on a different level compared with the other company and can’t recommend the property centre enough ! Thank you Louise ????

Natasha had our property on the market just 4 days after our initial contact. The process was a pleasure as communication with Natasha is nothing but admirable. E-mails, text and phone calls have been answered outside of working hours which we wouldn't expect but is a real bonus at times of stress when marketing/selling/buying. Nothing is too much trouble and we welcome the confidence Natasha has with being very honest and genuine with constructive feedback and with sharing her professional knowledge. Viewings were arranged without delay, feedback from viewings were immediate and then followed up a day or two later, we were kept updated daily and Natasha sold our house within a coupe of weeks (at a time when the market isn't as active as it has been over the last few years) and the communication has continued to be fantastic with updates on the progression of sale coming to us as soon as there are updates to give. Natasha holds a weekly update call with Solicitors to ensure the process is moving effectively and without 'stalling' We feel very supported and its a real pleasure working with Natasha who always answers her phone with a very cheerful positive tone ????. We have sold/bought through many agents over the years and Natasha is now our number one choice and someone we have already recommended. 5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
