Others take your call with a serious enquiry about a property, take all your details and ask you to confirm it by email, and never bother to call you back if the outcome hasn't been positive and they are not set to make money out of you. Sadly, this agency belongs to the second category.

They helped a lot with corresponding with solicitors to make sure the process went smoothly. In particular Jackie was very helpful throughout the process
2nd Jun 2024 (8 weeks ago)Having recently moved to the Telford area, we were unsure about what agent to use when selling our property, when a friend said Harwoods had been very helpful in the past we thought we'd try them. I booked the valuation in with Patrick, and Ben attended and carried out the valuation, they got the property straight on the market and booked viewings in right away. Various members of the team did viewings, and each time we were given booking details etc and given feedback on the viewings when necessary.the house soon went under offer and the team helped manage the sale right to completion. I would have no hesitation in recommending harwoods to anyone. A pleasure to deal with.

17th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)Terrible customer service. Initial stage of coming to value the property and take photos seemed promising and I was told they had high confidence in it selling. I only has 2 viewings in 12 weeks (one of which was a time waster). I had to chase for feedback and to prompt them to ask for feedback/follow up. It seemed like apart from uploading the advert to Right Move they were not going to attempt to make any effort to sell the property. It was only when I said I was considering going with a different agent they said they can send out a matching email to potential buyers (why this was done from the very start I don’t know!). Definitely felt as though because they are a larger firm it didn’t matter if the house sold or not. I was given no advice when I called to discuss things so I decided to drop the price, still no luck. I’m really unsure what I would have been paying for if they had actually delivered.
13th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)Let out a house on Foden Road that had rats inside the house, mould, dirty inside, stains, wires under the bath, a boiler that is not fit for purpose and then tried to tell me that the issues that were in the house previously were done my myself! I was told by Jade (ex-employee) the Landlords friend works/owns Royston & Lund so the checks were obviously not done properly prior to me moving in (explains boiler). My child suffers with Asthma and has been constantly ill GP said it was due to mould an damp but when I informed Royston & Lund they promised someone would come out but that person never did and then they served me with a Section 31! Don’t use these estate agents they are a joke!

I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

Matthew from outset exceeded service expectations and was the most professional and thorough sales negotiator of the three companies we approached. Tracey did an amazing job in progressing the sale, and our onward purchase too. All other staff, including Bethan and Elizabeth, were excellent too. There is a good feeling of teamwork in the office. 3rd Aug 2021 (2 years ago)It's never easy selling the home of a deceased parent, but it helps if you are supported by a good agent. Barbers were alongside us throughout the process, offering helpful advice and support and bringing us to a successful conclusion. A sale was agreed in excess of the asking price within a matter of days, but, due to Covid-19 and other difficulties, took 4 months to complete. Through all this time we never felt cut off or out of the loop, as we were kept well-informed of progress (or lack of it!). A thoroughly professional job from start to finish - we would readily recommend Barbers.
