9th May 2023 (1 year ago)Absolutely horrendous. Let's just say that they are happily leaving a pregnant tenant with a young son with NO water, as there is a leak they are refusing to fix. Water is flowing freely through kitchen light sockets, and tenant has been told not to use water untill it's fixed. Bottom floor wet throughout, tenant distressed and completely ignored, and cannot shower wash up or turn on the stop clock for anything at all, as per ad,s instructions. But fixing or resolving it is apparently not something they are going do. See pics A D estates are negligent, rude, arrogant, unhelpful, and lacking any moral compass to allow a pregnant mum to live in these conditions, despite her having reported the leak over 6 months ago, and most recently this week as it continues to get worse and more dangerous by the day. AVOID this agency, as it is a tenants and therefore landlords worst nightmare.

3rd Sep 2023 (8 mo. ago)I cannot rate Hilton King and Locke highly enough, particularly Jenny Hall (Head of Lettings). From my first contact with Jenny, she has gone above and beyond to find a wonderful home for my wife and I to rent. Unlike many of the other estate agents I had spent weeks trying to contact to arrange viewings, Jenny got back to me almost immediately and booked me into to see two properties at short notice – the first of which we loved and ultimately rented. This was particularly helpful because my wife and I had only a short amount of time to find a property to rent and were returning from having lived overseas for two years. Jenny was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and transparent which was also very reassuring for me as a tenet. Once we moved into the property, Jenny and the entire Hilton Locke and King team have been fantastic in resolving a few teething problems which are an inevitable part of renting any property. Not only did Jenny work tirelessly to coordinate between us and the landlord but she also intervened with several third parties to help get our issue resolved. The issues were dealt with promptly and with great sensitivity and care. More than that, Jenny was incredibly personable with my wife, to the extent that she went as far as to buy my wife flowers – something which was incredibly appreciated as we waited for an issue to be resolved. I really cannot rate Hilton Locke and King highly enough. Having previously had some bad experiences renting, I never thought that I would be writing such a positive review for an estate agent. If you are looking for a property to rent in and around the Langley area as we were, however, Hilton Locke and King come strongly recommended.

The initial meeting with Raj was positive , reassuring and welcoming and they really care about managing your property and keep upto date. We are happy with the services from Raj and his team. Compared to other agencies where you are just a number the staff here seems to care about doing a good job. I highly recommend Woodend Estates for thei services for Renting, selling ,Buying or any other financial services.

When they did pick up, they told me they’ll call me back after 15 minutes without even taking my number. It’s been an hour now, no one called. If that’s how it is from the beginning, then I will not be giving them my money.

23rd Sep 2022 (1 year ago)A window in the flat broke in November, almost a year later and we find out from the tenant that they haven't fixed it. Will not respond to calls or return them. Property managers seem to change every three months and no new manager seems to have any idea of what the previous ones said or did. Avoid.

The photographs were fabulous, showing the house at it’s best. Any queries we had over the change in the housing market were dealt with reassuringly.

This is particularly true of Nazim, who has proven time and time again to go above-and-beyond: proactive, effective, and courteous, finding prompt and practical solutions to any queries, ensuring a happy and comfortable tenancy. A genuine pleasure to deal with, I gladly recommend to anyone moving forward.
9th Dec 2023 (22 weeks ago)Worst agency that we have dealt with for a while. Our experience before we officially signed and became tenants were great. After our tenancy it was somewhat a nightmare. We locked ourselves out from our flat at 7am. We went to their office to borrow their spare key for 5 minutes to cut a copy but they refused to lend it. They sent us away and told us to get a locksmith out instead. Unhelpful is an understatement. A week later, the lovely lady from the shop downstairs told me that the shop have a spare key to the flat as it is owned by the same landlord, andthat they have already told the agency that the spare key is available. So not only did the agency refused to lend heir copy of the key, they also omitted telling us this information. I paid £100 for the locksmith to come out when I did not have to. Not only was the agency not helpful, but it felt like they were deliberately being unhelpful. A month after we moved in, the boiler stopped working and I was without heating for a while day with a small baby. I called the agency at least 5 times, and the answer is always he same ..they are liaising with the landlord. Finally gave up and went downstairs to tell the landlord and it was resolved almost immediately. Not everyone is so lucky to live above their landlord so not sure how others get their maintenance issue resolved via this agency..png)

28th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)I would give 0 stars at this point moved in before Christmas and we still haven’t been told rent or any bills what so ever which is gonna leave anyone in debt who lives here aswell every tenant in my building is unhappy with the service of galaxy the building is amazing but the service help and staff is utterly awful also not to mention the fact that when I was calling 35mins before they shut there was 2 staff members in there and they were ignoring the phone absolutely disgusting and disrespectful be careful choosing these guys don’t get stuck in the same situation as myself

I wanted to schedule a viewing for the week but only one person was able to show the house who wasn't available at the time we requested. I've made 3 attempts to now contact this individual and they have still not replied or returned my phonecall. Disgusting service. Renting property shouldn't be this hard.
