Google should introduce negative stars! I would love to rate this company a negative 100. Why? Update: The director has responded below and attempted to defend their incompetence. None of their team has been able to provide an answer relevant to my queries. TDS was a long route which I didn't want to take. These guys are just robbers in suits. Their T&C are unfair and designed to serve their own financial interest, what you say in a dispute situation does not matter to them. I'm now determined to share my experience on trustpilot.co.uk. the power is in customers hand, I urge anyone to first stay away from this guys and secondly, if too late, share their experiences here and on trustpilot. I rented a 2 bed flat through these guys. Although not much went wrong during my tenancy but they took me for a ride when it came to end of my tenancy and I wanted my deposit back. They held all of deposit back because of cleaning charge and a window privacy film on the doors of living room leading to the balcony. The film was put on using water and washing up liquid. So because of £250 which was made up of 190 for cleaning and 60 quid for removal of the film, my whole deposit was held ransom. The flat was handed back in spotless condition. The agent failed to prove to me where or which part of the property was not cleaned. During the thrilling 2 months battle and an eventual court filing, the agent had no evidence to charge for any of the claim they made and I was able to get my money back. Problem summary: 1. Now according the refund policy, they should have paid the balance right away but did not. 2. The agent or landlord cannot enforce cleaning charge onto tenants - that's what the law says. 3. 2 months on, the window still had the privacy film on but I was charged for removal of this film - this was a shameless attempt to rob me of my 60 quid. Update 1.07.2018; no one from your team has been able to comment on this point. Either you are ignorant or you know nothing. 4. I was dealing with a robot which had a "senior property manager" tag on and called Anna and who demonstrated experience of a school drop-out. She was pathetic, incompetent and robotic who did not understand the case at all. Update: in response to their response bellow; I have no interest in attacking your staff. My case was handled by a true incompetent manager. The public needs to know this fact. Hire people who can do the job if you care about your business reputation. The outcome: After 2 months of emails and court application I got my 250 back with an apology from the director. The director I have to say is capable and quite understanding. Advice: Do your research and know your tenants right and the law governing tenancy. Particularly around cleaning charges. Clean your property properly at the end however you don't have to have it professionally cleaned. It's a scam. Cleaning companies charge 75 quid for a 2 bed 2 bathroom property but agents charge you many times more than that for it. View estate agents as filthy leeches who will attempt to suck money off your pocket. Be prepared to fight them off with knowledge about your rights. And avoid using Cameron estate agents.... Instead you are responsible: first of all, before signing the contract, you omitted that it would be managed by third parties and not by you. Secondly you must guarantee that all parts of the contract are respected and so it has not been! You are directly responsible for your rude and aggressive agents !!! I do not recommend it to everyone. I offer my experience to advise anyone don't choose this agency. Better small agencies that care about the customer and not just the profit. We believed that Foxton was synonymous with quality we were wrong. After paying £420,00 of fee, 11/11/2017 no one came to check us in. We had to go and get the keys at the agency, only one set, when a contract was provided for two, to have the second with key box past a month. So a month without being able to check mail. The house was in the condition that you can see in the pictures. It had to be unfurnished instead it was full of furniture that we had to move us. Garbage that was not removed, we waited days for them to send someone just as they told us, and in the end it was the concierge who removed my condition after two weeks due to my pregnant condition. Since no one checked us in, we stayed 4 days at zero degrees, I was pregnant and with a child of 11 months, we also complained to Citizens Advice. And after 4 days the manager of the house came to unlock the radiators and the boiler with a tool we didn't have. In addition, the house also had the following minor problems: chandeliers without light bulbs, the leaking sink, the detached floor, non-silicone bathrooms from which animals came out at night. We made several complaints, in the end the mail, only one person helped us A.P., the rest was screwed. We also tried to pay the rent with the deduction sustained by the work we had to do, but they threatened to throw us out. Thank goodness after a year the property manager changed and things seemed to get better. They seemed, because as soon as we gave the notice, the viewings started for two months, even an agent that I hope he was fired, he wanted to do viewings every day 2/3 times a day without giving notice as foreseen by the contract, hell. Besides the photos as proofs we have all the emails and messages and we will turn to the competent organs.... Read more

I confirmed a viewing. But on the day of the viewing, I could never get through to the agency, they wouldn't answer my call so I didn't know whether the viewing was actually confirmed. And since we couldn't get a hold of this agency at all, we weren't sure where the property truly was as the address they gave us didn't match with maps or anything. Truly the worst agency in London, they failed to disclose important information about a severe leak that was happening in the flat before we signed the contract which is not only illegal, it is a gross abuse of consumer trust. They have not accepted a single ounce of responsibility for this despite it stated clearly on the inventory report and in emails from before we signed the contract. Not only so, they left the leak, damp and mould to fester in the apartment for almost fourt months before it was properly sorted with no resolution on how to mitigate the vile living situations we were forced to reside in. God forbid you ever forget your keys to your apartment becausse if you call the office you’re going to be met with verbal abuse from the owner.
