25th Sep 2024 (28 days ago)Hunters, Barnsley, have been by far the most credible, organised and effective agents of all I've done business with in the area over the past few years. Their motivation in marketing properties, their drive to secure buyers, and their professional ethos in shepharding the sales through to completion are absolutely on-point. Communication and customer service are the two skills that stand out as being exemplary, and I can say this for every Hunters agent, which makes every correspondence clear, timely and a pleasure. There is no question of choice of Estate Agents in this area for me, Hunters are the one.

6th Oct 2024 (17 days ago)David Humphries helped me obtain my mortgage on the purchase of my first home. David was great - responsive and easy to get hold of. He took me through the whole process step by step, and answered any questions I had. Would highly recommend!

Unless of course , you want to be kept in the dark, and do the job of an estate agent yourself?? consistently chasing for updates (that's if you can get through on the phone lines as more than likely they do not answer) and when they do, get spoken to in a very rude and unprofessional manor (like you are a hindrance) Very poor service , the buyer of the property we listed with wh brown had a very poor service too! - very close to loosing sale as a result. No contact throughout the process ! Happy to sign you up , take the fee ! But do zero work. Will be logging a formal complaint .

8th Jul 2024 (15 weeks ago)I contacted this branch to give me a valuation of a property I own. I had a good honest chat about what I wanted with David jones the valuation manager who said he would get back to me within a couple of days. I heard nothing so after 5 days a contacted them again but conveniently David was out of the office so I asked again if he could contact me. What a surprise he couldn’t be bothered to return my call. Avoid using this branch at Wakefield because they will let you down. Very very poor.

I don't feel valued as a customer, the way she dealt with our process of buying a house was not professional and very confusing. 31st Jul 2024 (12 weeks ago)This estate agent struggled to get me feedback from prospective buyers. I had quite a few viewings in the 22 weeks I was with them but no offers. I feel they could have been more determined to not only get me feedback but act on it. They accepted feedback given without further probing. I have gone to another estate agent and have been much more satisfied with them.

They are both extremely professional in what they do but at the same time very helpful and friendly can't thank them enough and would highly recommend this company.

24th Feb 2024 (7 mo. ago)Really wouldn’t recommend. I contacted them to inform them of my interest in a property which had only just been put up. When I rang them I was told to call back on the Monday, days later on Monday I called and was then told I would receive a call back later on with information regarding viewing availability and an application. Never received a single call. I then sent an email and called again and was purposefully ignored. I went to call again the next day but when I looked online they’d removed the property. Zero communication and a really unprofessional company.

31st Jul 2024 (12 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
