3rd Sep 2026 (15 days ago)As a cash buyer ready to pull the plug, had a genuine interest in a currently listed property, dealing with Hayward Tod has quickly taken my interest away.<br><br>Communication extremely poor, having to chase up answers to genuine questions (about the leasehold and lpg) multiple times yet to no avail, just getting ignored now. Another ‘middleman’ estate agent.<br><br>Leah and Carla thanks for wasting my time.

15th Jan 2026 (8 mo. ago)I genuinely enjoyed working as a Trainee Surveyor and learning from two experienced professionals who were supportive and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, my experience in the property office was very different. The person running the office was inexperienced, insecure, and lacking in confidence. They created a toxic environment, being two faced, patronising, and often blaming new starters, claiming mistakes were their fault, even when communication was poor, organisation was lacking, and errors were frequent. New starters were often targeted for mistakes while not in the office, leaving them unable to understand or respond to situations effectively. The leadership style prioritised self promotion over supporting the team. The environment was exhausting, demoralising, and unsustainable for anyone serious about developing their career. It is no surprise that staff turnover is high in the property office, yet some employees may not realise this is due to the office culture. Despite these challenges, I value the lessons learned from supportive colleagues and from navigating a difficult environment, which will help my professional growth.

31st Aug 2026 (18 days ago)We approached Walker & Sharpe to ask for assistance applying for a joint guardianship for our son who is turning 16 but lacks capacity to make decisions around his own welfare. I had previously heard of them and Shannon specifically when she did a talk for the Parent Inclusion Network on guardianship. From the outset, what I feared would be a difficult process, was made so much easier by Walker and Sharpe, and specifically Shannon who worked on our case. The whole process was straightforward, professional, efficient, friendly, and we felt able to approach her at any point with questions or to clarify things. 16th Jul 2026 (9 weeks ago)Both Gary and Alaina in the Dumfries branch of Hunters have been outstanding in what has been a very stressful and upsetting time in my life. My father passed away a few months ago and as his only child I was left to deal with his estate. Living 300 miles away, this was obviously quite an intimidating prospect. Gary and Alaina offered a huge amount of support and professionalism and sold my dad's house in less than 3 weeks of marketing. I cannot recommend them highly enough and I'm so happy I chose them to assist me! Jenny
