I know sellers back out sometimes but they handled it awfully, we had to learn it from our onwards, they gave no, explanation or advice and showed zero sympathy. They left us off the market for months and we missed several equiries and lost our onwards due to their ineptitude. To make matters worse they were almost double the price of other agents.

26th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)Dhruv Rupapara and Zac Summerhayes were the agents who worked on the sale. They were easy and pleasant to work with and had a good understanding of the market. They sold my flat faster than I expected, were transparent and informative all through the process, answering all my questions with patience and good humour. I would recommend Winkworth Islington and both the agents without hesitation.

27th Mar 2021 (5 years ago)I generally had a good experience with this agency. Solving problems and making inquiries were always smooth. However, one of their agents (Ebony) brought a potential new tenant to visit my flat without my permission, when I was on holidays. I did not appreciate that and she never apologised, just ignored my emails.... I contacted Edward who apologised later. I have also explicitly asked to keep my letters during the transition period but never got any information about them, even knowing that some letters have arrived (got simultaneously by email). This was not nice given that I kept returning all letters for the previous tenant for a year when I moved in.

23rd Sep 2019 (7 years ago)Harry helped us sell above our expected sales expectation and kept us updated during the listings. Was a pleasure to list with them and worth the slightly higher listing commission than some other cheaper agents that may not have had the same results. Will use again.

15th Feb 2021 (5 years ago)Lords Estates came highly recommended to me by a number of people who have bought and sold property via Lords, so I didn't hesitate to sell through them. I was so grateful for the personal touch they offer, keeping me informed all the way and having my best interests at heart. They made sure that I was happy with proceedings at every stage, only giving me advice when I asked. After the sale went live, I was bombarded with letters from other Estate Agents, which only confirmed to me even more that I had made the right choice! It seems that even Solicitors are impressed by the dedication and care which Lords Estate offer their clients, which speaks volumes in their favour. I was also pleasantly surprised at the fee they charge, especially considering all the work they've done on my behalf. 9th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)Terrible communication and zero response for 2 months I have been asking the lettings team for two months regarding a broken door closer at my property, and I have been completely ignored. Agents have a legal responsibility to maintain property fixtures, but this agency completely ghosts tenants once they've moved in. If you are looking for a reliable managing agent that actually responds to repair requests, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. Extremely disappointing customer service.- This agent doesn't have any reviews
23rd Sep 2022 (4 years ago)A window in the flat broke in November, almost a year later and we find out from the tenant that they haven't fixed it. Will not respond to calls or return them. Property managers seem to change every three months and no new manager seems to have any idea of what the previous ones said or did. Avoid.
18th May 2026 (24 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Johns&Co at London City Island. From our very first conversation, we made it explicitly clear that parking was a requirement for us. We were initially shown a property with parking, shown the parking area itself, and then shown another property which we were told also included parking. Based on those representations, we proceeded and had our offer accepted. Only later did we discover — via a WhatsApp message from the agent Katie — that the property did not in fact include parking and that we would need to rent a space separately. This was clearly material information and something we had specifically stated was essential to our purchase decision. We would never have proceeded had the correct information been provided from the outset. What made the situation worse was the handling afterwards. We were initially told compensation would be offered, but after querying the amount, the local manager Elliot called to say we would receive nothing because the issue had been discovered “early in the process” and he did not believe anyone had done anything wrong. The overall attitude felt dismissive and lacking in accountability. We were left having wasted significant time and effort progressing a purchase based on inaccurate information, and ultimately had no choice but to withdraw. Buyers should be very careful to independently verify all “confirmed” information provided during the sales process.
