I have had a very good experience with Chris Paxton and his team at Knight Frank. They all work in a very thorough and professional manner. Chris and his staff are courteous, friendly and efficient. All queries are answered immediately and they seem to know how to match tenant and landlord very well. They found me a top tenant, working in banking in Canary Wharf. They provided the tenancy agreement 3 days before the move-in date, despite we had chased them for a month (There seemed not to be anyone knowing our case with full knowledge.) Regarding the clauses we were not happy with, they simply just passed the messages back and forth between us and the landlord. All our requests were refused but we had to accept it because we couldn't find another flat in 3 days. The administration was also a nightmare. They never revealed fees all at once (despite we chased several times) so we always found surprises. Very unresponsive, one simple question took them few days or longer to get back, with scattered answers. The worst was, they made mistakes on numbers, and failed to send through emails because they made typo on the address or had internet drop, etc.... Read more

Quite poor service for tenants - 1) Communication is really slow and sometimes confusing. 2) They tried to make us paying for damages in the property which were already there before we checked in and that were reported in the inventory 3) They tried to make us paying for a sofa they bought (and they forgot about it) 4) Watch up for clause 4.1.5 as they will make you pay at the end of the tenancy an initially undisclosed fee for "preparation for checkout". In our case it was 100 pounds. 5) they hire bad contractors for fixing problems in the house. Our windows were poorly fixed 4 times and systematically broke again.... Read more

After viewing a flat, my wife and I put a holding deposit down this property later that evening. The next day (Friday), I received a call from Morgan Randall telling us 'Congratulations the landlord has accepted your offer' and 'we will take the property off the market'. Additionally, after I asked if I could cancel any viewings I had arranged for the weekend, they gave me the go-ahead and reassurance to do so. During this call, we were also told that a property manager will be in touch with us on Monday. With their confirmation, we also handed in our notice for the place we were currently renting. When we didn't hear from the property manager (Mon-Wed), we tried to get in contact with Morgan Randall via emails, WhatsApp and calls repeatedly. When we do try to call, we get the standard reply of 'They will call you back' which we never received. Over WhatsApp however, we were told that they will get things sorted for us. On Thursday, after not hearing from the property manager again, we called Morgan Randall repeatedly until we they finally responded notifying us that that the landlord has accepted an offer with another agency. This means we were left with NO HOUSE A WEEK BEFORE WE WERE MEANT TO MOVE IN. We don't doubt that the team was working hard to sort out the issue but clearly we deserved much greater transparency over the issue. As far as we were concerned, the flat was ours, hence if we had at least been aware that there was any issue we may have been able to assess our other options. Instead, we received the unpleasant surprise that we had less than a week to find somewhere else to live. The Morgan Randall team promised to do their best to assist us with finding a new place, following which we received no further correspondence from them. When we wrote a formal complaint e-mail, they said 'the landlord decided to accept another offer and the Lettings team informed you of this as soon as possible. Having said this, we agree that communication should have been better during the process and calls ought to have been returned. We will be reviewing these matters internally and providing further training so this does not happen going forward.' It seems they have not acknowledged the issue that we complained about. We were told that the landlord accepted our offer and that the property would be taken off the market - NOT that the landlord was still considering the offer. Those are two very different things. Additionally, we were only told when we called them repeatedly, they did not call us to break the news. Their ability to provide training for this is somewhat questionable when they don't seem to be able to acknowledge the cause of the issue. Needless to say that we are extremely disappointed in and shocked by the lack of professionalism by Morgan Randall, Canary Wharf and we will most definitely not be recommending them.... Read more

Don't believe what they tell you at viewings (especially about the flatmates), and don't fall for how chilled out they act. I rented in a flat with the worst flatmates that were very noisy and were in the flat all the time, while the agent described them at the viewing as very discreet with one of them not being there much. It was a ridiculous lie. The flat was bad, too - it was the only one with single glazed windows in the area, and it was absolutely freezing in the winter, I felt like a stray dog. It was bad. The agent was responsive, though, but forgot to mention all the inconvenient things about the flat (oven not working etc). But I won't give more than 2 stars because I felt really betrayed about the way the flat was sold to me. Really disappointing experience. Edit: I am changing my review to 1 star because after seeing my Google Maps review, the agency made me come to their office to confront me, otherwise I wouldn't get my deposit back. Ridiculous behaviour.... Read more

The worst possible agency anyone will come across. The manager Stephan is a disgrace. He is a horrible inhumane being. He will agree for you to have a pet and then he will lie to all parties and say that he never said those things. Ignore your phone calls when you can clearly hear him in the background and then when you arrive into the borough office to address him, you get shouted out of the door. I will recommend this agency to no one. AVOID. This man is why estate agents have a bad name. Unprofessional.... Read more
