Lois Brown was fantastic and James Murray has a longstanding, excellent expertise which yields results. Very grateful for their patience and perseverance. We’ve bought and sold through Murray’s who have been wonderful both sides. When we buy again I’m going straight to these experts.

6th Jun 2022 (4 years ago)AVOID USING FOREFRONT, use someone more reputable. Lack of communication, when that communication does come it’s unclear & muddled up with communication from all other parties. Our estate agent left the company midway through the process & the person picking it up had no clue about the process nor wanted to get bought up to speed. 4 months into the process, after waiting patiently, we were asked if we had a mortgage offer??? The one rare time we got any communication from Forefront, the estate agent handled the situation very poorly, leaving a sour taste in our mouth. Safe to say we will never be using forefront again & I strongly advise you not to use forefront, use someone more reputable like Richard James, Haart or Charles Harding.

16th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)I bought my first home through Appleby's and can not recommend them enough. Kate and the team were always very polite and quick to respond to any queries I had. They were happy to show me round the property at a very short notice and provided me with the keys within an hour of completing my purchase. I interacted with a few different local agents when looking for a home, and the service offered by Applebys was the best by far.

24th Mar 2026 (19 weeks ago)Murdock & Wasley turned our first home purchase into a nightmare. They failed to disclose important information, were inappropriately pushy, very dismissiveof our needs and feelings, Forwarded our private messages to the sellers to pressure us into dropping certain issues, dismissively telling us to accept faults because "it isn't a new build." On completion day, we were ignored by the directors, the staff had a "very off" vibe like oh god this is them, our congratulations card wasn't even signed. Definitely an agent for if you want to sell not for first time buyer. They lack basic and professional standards and courtesy.
6th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)Habitats - now called Agreed. Really impressed with the concept and overall with the site and process. Very quick to get my property online, booked a floorplan and it was carried out very promptly, house was uploaded to Rightmove and Zoopla in now time and it sold in days (although that's down to market conditions too). Overall really happy although the actual site can be a tad glitchy and perhaps from a buyers point of view a bit more guidance is needed...my FTB struggled a bit. Help function generally very responsive though. Sale hasn't yet completed as we are only a week in but if all continues as it started they will deserve 5 stars and I've saved over £1k in agent fees.
20th Jul 2026 (14 days ago)I feel the marketing of my property was very poor. It was placed online and forgot about, no other marketing explored or attempts to get buyers in through the door. The only contact I had from my agent was to push for the price to be lowered. I decided to list with a dual agent and the property was sold in a few weeks.
