18th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)We had a very difficult conveyancing due to problems with our buyer and it seemed like exchange and completion would never happen. But Perry Bishop did a great job of getting the sale over the line and supported us all the way in difficult times. We particularly want to acknowledge Jade Allen, who did an outstanding job keeping on top of the chain. She worked tirelessly to co-ordinate with buyers and their solicitors and kept us constantly updated. She also kept our spirits up when it seemed it would never happen. We feel it may never have happened if it wasn’t for the commitment Jade put into it. We highly recommend the service provided by Jade and the Perry Bishop team in Cirencester.

Throughout the whole process he kept me posted and explained everything I needed to know. He went above and beyond as I'm sure a lot of the times he was calling me were way past his home time. Got my keys today and look forward to renegotiating in five years.

Nick and all the staff pulled out all the stops to get the right buyer and were exceptional at communication. Updating me with feedback after viewings and keeping me informed as the sale progressed. They are such a good company to deal with and you feel that they genuinely have your interest at heart and are not just after earning commission. Nick will do the right thing for each individual seller or buyer. Would definitely recommend people to use them. Thank you for making what can be a stressful progress much easier.
26th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)We are so pleased that we chose Hamptons in Cirencester to market our property. Having lived in the same house for over 30 years we approached the thought of selling with some trepidation. However, shortly after our phone call Ian arrived and put us at ease from the outset. He provided a realistic price guide based on thorough research of similar sold properties in the area. Once we were ready to sell, our property was on the market within a week and sold subject to contract within 5 weeks. Throughout the entire process Ian, Greg and the team were always available for advice and support and their professional and friendly approach ensured that everything went as smoothly as possible liaising with all parties and keeping us regularly informed through to completion. If we were to sell again we would be straight on the phone to Hamptons.

14th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)Amazing stay on Windrush lake, booked through Orion Holidays. I called before hand, trying to get my bearings on the lakes and where best to stay with teens. They were so helpful from start to finish and the house we stayed in, along with all arrival details were spot on. Nothing was difficult and everything in the house was perfect. Absolutely no complaints and will most definitely return. We went out on the lake on our own paddleboards, just a few feet in front of our terrace, where we could sit in the hot tub and watch the teens on the lake! Very peaceful, particularly for the easter holidays. Can't wait to return!

Kept in the loop with viewings and outcomes. Very useful feedback from potential buyers. Found the Street.co.uk app good. Would definitely use McFarlane Sales & Lettings again. Tim Stanley was excellent.

9th Jul 2023 (2 years ago)Would not recommend this estate agents. I had to chase them for feedback every time (however, only had 7 viewings in 4 months!) didn’t hear from them at all for 7 weeks! NO communication at all!! Arranged viewings with totally unsuitable prospective buyers (e.g. a lady with an electric car who wanted to install an electric hook up when there is no driveway-on street parking). Felt forgotten about as the office wasn’t in our town. Worse than disappointing.Connells - Swindon North

We had a lot of negotiation due to some additional land being purchased alongside the property but we were kept informed throughout and this resulted in a smooth and swift sale, receiving the keys just months later. My sale was lengthy and stressful due to a collapsed chain but dealt with swiftly and compasionately and with a new buyer in place quickly. The best thing about dealing with this firm is the staff. I nearly always dealt Amy who could not have been more on the ball, knowledgable, helpful and kind. She always went the extra mile to provide a good service. Well done to all of them for their hard work and professionalism
