19th Apr 2022 (2 years ago)Could not recommend this landlord at all for a domestic rental. Negligent from the get go, reported smoke alarm several times but they didn’t care to fix it. Agent at the time of entry made a note of it and did nothing putting 2 adults and 4 children at risk. If I could give zeros stars I would have, avoid at all costs. Try to use scare lingering tactics to recoup deposits, fabricating pictures that again where present before we took on the proeprty

Peter and his team know what they are doing and provide the standard of service you would expect from a company at this level, easily. I cannot recommend Savills highly enough and will certainly use them again in any property sale or purchase.

27th Jul 2016 (7 years ago)The purpose of this review is not to be defamatory or be untrue it is simply an account of my experience of MacPhee & Co. So here is my sorry story. I employed MacPhee & co to sort out legally the custody of my daughter. While I had no problem as lawyers they were actually rather good. The problem started When I received a substantial bill, quite simply I felt they did not keep me informed as to what kind of fees they were running up. When after numerous and phone calls it became apparent that I couldn’t pay their fees straight away and despite agreeing that I pay in installments as quickly as I could. With 2 working days notice they resigned from the case leaving me unrepresented. Now in fairness they did give me a long time to pay the fees that was small comfort as due to trying to represent my self I lost nearly 50% of the access I had to my daughter prior to getting involved with them. This review is purely an account of my experience and I am not recommending you use them or not. The decision dear reader is yours. Finally despite legal letters promising all sorts of actions from them I’m still giving them one star.

2nd Jun 2023 (10 mo. ago)Can't make a review of Anderson Banks at the moment as we are in the middle of finalising sale. They managed to get a few viewings and we got a offer we were happy with. As this was our first time selling we would like to have had things explained simpler as we had to ask the same questions several times feel this could have been made a lot easier

Unfortunately, he acted for my now X wife and was not successful in securing the death penalty……mind you, it was only for D&D and she did get banned. Oh…he was defending her…..oops.
10th Apr 2023 (1 year ago)This company is the epitome of why estate agents are regarded as one of the least trustworthy industries in the UK. Whilst purchasing my home , they failed to disclose relevant information available to them regarding a massive construction scheme in adjacent land to my home, despite being fully aware of it. The buyer of a close-by property which was sold two months previously by Gavin Brown of SBS, who was also the agent acting in the sale of my home, was made fully aware of the construction project as it benefitted that particular property, in fact, it was highlighted in the sales brochure. I am presently surrounded by a 3 year long building site, with the prospect of being surrounded and overlooked by 5no. 55m high pylon towers upon completion. The Property Enquiry Certificate, from Millar and Bryce, requested by SBS also fails to disclose this information, despite Millar and Bryce also being fully aware of the project. In short, be very wary when purchasing property through this company in the Argyll and Bute area, as there are several major infrastructure project proposals which could adversely affect the enjoyment of your new home, sold to you by these, charlatan tramps. I await to be proved wrong.The fact this review remains unchallenged, speaks volumes, this poor excuse for an estate agent need closing down.
21st Dec 2021 (2 years ago)Great quality service provided by Macphees with selling my home. Communication has been very straightforward with the lawyers and replies are always prompt. Katie the marketing director who did the photos was friendly and professional and gave good advice when asked questions about the selling process. I would recommend using their service as they certainly live up to their high standards.
