He’s always been really helpful and made sure we received all the regular services we were meant to such as boilers services.<br><br>The couple of times we had a minor issue he was quick to sort it out and always checked in to make sure this was resolved. He is really easy to deal with and genuinely couldn’t have been more helpful.<br><br>Would definitely recommend Jonathan to anyone looking for a great estate agent!
29th Oct 2025 (10 mo. ago)My experience with Walker Laird was very good. We gave them the keys for the house and they showed everyone round the property. Arranging all of the viewings themselves. The house sold within 2 weeks without any problems.

They sold my property incredibly quickly, helped me achieve the best possible price, and supported me throughout the entire selling process.<br><br>What really stands out about Countrywide is their customer service. Every member of the team was kind, professional, efficient, and always willing to help. As someone with a disability, I especially appreciated how supportive, patient, and understanding they were. They made what could have been a very stressful experience much easier.<br><br>I would like to sincerely thank everyone who was involved in the sale of my flat. Please pass on my gratitude to the whole team. I am so happy that I chose Countrywide, and I would absolutely use them again if I ever need to buy or sell a property in the future.<br><br>If you’re thinking about choosing an estate agent, don’t hesitate. From start to finish, everyone I’ve dealt with has been incredibly helpful, professional and friendly.<br><br>In particular, I can’t thank Alison enough. She has been absolutely fantastic — always on the ball, keeping me updated throughout and making what could have been a stressful process feel so much easier. I always felt like everything was being taken care of, which gave me real peace of mind.<br><br>The photographs of my flat were also absolutely stunning. They were beautifully presented and really showcased the property at its best on the website, which I was so impressed with.<br><br>I’d also like to mention Chris, the mortgage adviser at Slater Hogg. He was so attentive, calm and patient throughout the whole mortgage application. He was always quick to get back to me whenever I had a question or query and made the whole process feel straightforward and stress-free.<br><br>Overall, I’m genuinely delighted with the service I’ve received from Slater Hogg. From selling my flat to arranging my new mortgage, everything has been handled so smoothly and professionally. Their comprehensive support alleviated any concerns I might have had. The team's friendly and helpful approach, coupled with their outstanding customer service, was truly commendable. Their profound knowledge of the market and strategic application of various techniques ensured the attraction of suitable prospective buyers. Despite the inherently stressful nature of the process, their involvement significantly eased my burden. Therefore, a massive thank you to Adrian King and his fantastic team up in Dunfermline branch! 3rd Sep 2026 (15 days ago)This company’s signage is literally a red flag.<br><br>Take note - and if you know what’s good for you - run.<br><br>If you’re a prospective tenant, don’t just take my advice… read the pages and pages of reviews of this company from other people who have been put through hell by these people.<br><br>Junior lettings staff - who was given the responsibility by her management when she was 5 minutes in the door with zero experience to remotely manage a full electrical rewire of the flat I was due to move into, at the tail end of Covid. The electrics were malfunctioning, the walls were destroyed, the carpets were destroyed and every other general maintenance issue that was supposed to be taken care of before I moved in, she failed on. Then she went of a campaign of emotional manipulation in an attempt to wear me out when I was trying to have her take responsibility, admit fault and fix the damage. She didn’t admit fault. She didn’t apologise. She didn’t fix anything.<br><br>I fixed everything myself - walls, floors, kitchen units, fireplace. I spent thousands of pounds doing so.<br><br>I should also add that the flat was on the market with no valid electric safety certificate and only after it was advertised, had people view, and a deposit paid and a let agreed did this junior notice that the EICR certificate (and others) had expired.<br><br>Not only was there no proper due diligence on my move in, there was no proper due diligence when the previous tenants moved out.<br><br>Sloppy, at best.<br><br>Director of Property Management-. This vile excuse for a woman took no responsibility, never apologised, never picked up the phone, never fixed anything and threatened my tenancy.<br><br>head of customer service - this vile excuse for a man - never picked up the phone, mishandled my formal complaint, took absolutely no responsibility for the problems they had created, admitted no fault, harassed me in the process, never resolved anything, and gave me no option but to seek compensation via a tribunal.<br><br>The case had so many items to be heard that it took 3 hearing, over 2 years.<br><br>As soon as the case was over, DJ Alexander sent me a notice to leave - citing that the landlord wanted to move a family member in.<br><br>This was a lie. The flat was back on the market less than 4 weeks after I moved out, with one of their red flags in the front garden.<br><br>For those who have read this far - also take note that they have a boiler plate response on negative google reviews suggesting that we reach out to customer service with our complaints - trying to look like they care.<br><br>4 years of my life absolutely ruined by people who’s egos will not allow them so just say, sorry - I was wrong - let’s fix things.

My son, owns his own business , his wife & 5 really well mannered level headed kids applied for a property after viewing to be told the “owner” decided they were not suitable? No credit searches, no full application only how many occupants. Is this discrimination against have a large family and assuming they’re reliant on benefits? He has private rented for some 15 years and never missed a payment. Maybe Clyde should work a bit harder to satisfy owners & renters.

From my very first meeting through to accepting an offer, the whole team made what could have been a very stressful experience feel straightforward and well managed. A special thank you to Stacey and the rest of the team, including the lovely younger trainee team member, who was also incredibly professional, friendly, and a real credit to the company. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely committed to providing an excellent service. My property was priced appropriately, they kept me informed at every stage, and everything was handled efficiently and smoothly. Their knowledge of the local market gave me real confidence, and I’m delighted with the outcome. Living with disabilities means everyday tasks can sometimes feel overwhelming, but the team were incredibly understanding, patient, and supportive. They took the stress out of the process and always treated me with kindness and respect. That compassionate approach made a genuine difference, and I’ll always be grateful for it. I’d also like to praise the independent Home Report surveyors they arranged. They were equally professional, thorough, and helpful, providing an excellent service from the outset and making the entire process even easier. He’s been instrumental in helping us scale rapidly and is now managing a portfolio of 20 properties for us with complete professionalism. Lewis handles everything from tenant sourcing and compliance to ongoing maintenance and problem-solving, all with an incredible level of care and efficiency. What really sets him apart is his commitment - he genuinely treats each property as if it were his own. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and he’s become a trusted partner (and friend) along the way. He knows this game inside out, and our tenants love him also. Our properties are kept in tip top condition 247, 365 days of the year, and from a business point of view, our rents drop into our account as and when they are received with no issues. From our first meeting, I knew she was the right person to sell my flat – it ended up selling way beyond the home report and way beyond my own expectations! She did more work than the lawyers by about a million percent! The rest of the team is lovely and helpful too. Huge thanks to everyone for such a great experience. Would not hesitate to recommend to everyone!
