KFH were totally professional from the first evaluation visit. Andrew was exceptional, the only person in the chain that kept all the lawyers dancing and on their toes. He made it happen. More than worth paying the extra commison for. The higher valuation was spot on. The extra £1000 in fees on a competitor was more than offset by achieving a sale £35000 higher and gained the benefit of Andrew's hard work and professionalism. Not one whinge.... Read more

Don't bother with KFH. They really don't act in the best interest of the vendor. There are far better estate agents in the borough.... Read more

Really disappointed. Completely overvalued my propety from the outset and lured me into a false sense of security. Constantly showed people round who weren’t interested as they didn’t fit the criteria, simply to hit their viewings targets. Genuinely feel like I lost out on ££££’s as a result of going with them in the first place. Only slight positive is that the people themselves are nice enough and I was met with politeness, even when I told them I was going elsewhere. In my experience it really paid to go with a local agent, I’d urge anyone selling in Forest Hill to do the same.... Read more

I am pleasantly pleased to have chosen KFH to market and sell my home. Jason Davis (Sales Branch Director) explained to me the level of service I should expect. I must say from the very beginning they have exceeded my expectations. James Dawson is the sales agent whom dealt with the sale of my home. He is a very professional individual with a positive mindset and a bright future ahead! He took it upon himself to keep me updated throughout and spoke to mine and the buyers solicitors, essentially keeping the momentum of his forward approach to achieving the very best outcome, for both me (the seller) and of course the new buyers. Our sale was managed by Jamie Crowder at first and then Priyesh Barot, with no real explanation as to where Jamie went. Priyesh and his colleagues repeatedly gave misinformation to our buyer, — told her we had no chain when we'd made it clear we were buying a flat (which was chain free — perhaps that was the confusion, but it's really not complicated!), then told her we were happy to leave it vacant before we'd completed our purchase (also not true). This cause us much stress as we were worried she might pull out, as we knew KFH would make it seem like our fault to her. Then — the final straw! — told her on completion day that we were out and gave her the keys before we had finished and locked up! She literally turned up WHILE WE WERE CLEANING. Hugely embarrassing, but luckily she was reasonable and had only turned up to drop a few things and then move in later. KFH were more expensive than their service warranted. They did get our flat sold in the end, but after we'd already gone with another agent due to lack of activity from them. The sale only happened because of a previously interested party losing another purchase elsewhere and coming back to ours after we'd gone to another agent. Considered giving 2 stars as they were friendly, but these are really basic things that needn't have happened, hence just 1 star — there is no need to mislead buyers just to tell them what they want to hear. It only creates stress and frustration when the truth then appears.... Read more

Please return my deposit. I moved out from the flat on Silverdale on 31st Dec. 2015. And you should return my deposit within 10 days by Teneacy Deposit Scheme. I'm so disppointed to find you are so irresponsible regrding to ending contract. I remember you guys were so friendly when I made the contract on Mach 2014. I have never delayed to pay my rent and I kept myself cooperative to you guys while I was living the flat. I really don't want waste my time to chase you for the deposit and believe that you guys have some morality just like the most ot the Britishes I have met when I was in the UK. Please reply to my emails and return my deposit as soon as possible.... Read more

MONEY GRABBING B@STARDS Having decided to look for a 1 bedroom flat to rent near Crystal Palace I found a decent sized property about 20 minutes walk away through Kinleigh Folkard and Hayward for £850 per month. Not overly expensive I thought. I arranged a viewing with Alex on the Saturday. She seemed helpful (don't they all) and we agreed on a viewing at 11:30am on the Saturday. The Saturday arrived and I didn't want to be late as my journey was an hour and half to get to the viewing. Just as I was arriving at just after 11am at the front door I got a call saying sorry but the viewing has been postponed. No prior notice was given and I was pretty annoyed at the time wasted. I was called back again with a further apology saying that if I would go for a second viewing I would get some discount off of the agency fees. I saw the property for the second viewing and liked it and got the ball moving. NO DISCOUNT WAS OFFERED and I had to part with £656.15 with was for £210 tenant fees and £120 for referencing and the rest towards the initial deposit which still left me with a balance of £2194 before the move in date which wasn't a problem. The contract was for 15 months which I thought was odd and did query this but was told its either 15, 18 or 24 month contract. Upon my final visit just to hand in some more papers and fill out yet more forms I was told that mid contract the landlord now wanted to implement a rent rise but also there was no figure as to how much of an increase. I told them no way and if the landlord wanted to increase the rent he would have to do it after the contract has finished. Ridiculous!!!! Due to my mum's ill health and social services not being able to go ahead with a care package for my mum which had already been agreed with them I was forced to unfortunately pull out of the flat so I can carry on caring for her. KFH still had over a months notice from the date the flat was available to find tenants for this and have so far refused to pay back any of this money. I have been very reasonable with them and said yes they can keep the agency fees and the referencing (£330) and just return the rest (£326.15) which would have gone to the landlord. Instead, they are keeping the lot for their own profit and are showing no signs of wanting to play fair. They are going to find other tenants within the month and charge them another set of tenant fees and referencing so no doubt be quids in. I am in the process of seeking legal representation on this as I was hoping for at least a bit of compassion and understanding. I haven't cost them any money and in fact know that they will make more now. In the meantime. I would recommend to anybody to avoid these people as they seem to be up there with the worst of them.... I must say that my experience with KFH Catford has been one of the best of my renting life to date; Clement would have to be the proverbial 'man of the match' as he kept in contact with me after searching elsewhere hooked me back in and made sure I had seen what is now our home which is perfect for us. The rest of the team were great too and showed nothing but professionalism and friendly demeanor through out the entire process and were more than patient when we hit a couple of bumps on the road. If you hadn't realized this by now concerning KFH, I'm a fan. Thanks guy's!... Read more
