19th Sep 2024 (23 days ago)Extremely Disappointing Property Management Street Ahead claims to have 30+ years of experience, but their property management service is terrible. We reported a malfunctioning dishwasher on 30th May, and it's been almost four months with no action. Despite numerous follow-ups, all we receive are automated emails asking if the issue has been resolved, but no one has been sent to inspect or repair it. It's frustrating, and their property management team seems non-existent. Avoid them if you expect professional service or timely repairs!

20th Sep 2024 (22 days ago)Upon making the decision to sell I approached multiple estate agents in the local area. Upon meeting with them all and gauging their expertise by far the stand out agent for my property was Acorn. Acorn filled me with confidence that they could not only get the sale price I needed but also a quick sale. They followed through with their statement gaining a sale at asking price with the property being on the market for less than two weeks. Louise worked with me throughout the rollercoaster we had with the forward chain, maintaining our buyer commitment to the property and exchanging of contracts. I can say I highly recommend Acorn, they are by far the most professional estate agents I have worked with. They maintained excellent communication and backed up their sale claims. I have no plans in moving in the future but if I did Acorn would be my first port of call.

The whole team always gives you a friendly first class service which always feel very personable and professional. Highly recommend!

17th Sep 2024 (25 days ago)We had a fairly poor start to our experience with Acorn (poor advice, one agent left our back door wide open all day after a viewing - on a ground floor flat in central London, and the sense that when said agent left the business they were extremely over capacity). Having said that I would like to thank Harrison at the Camberwell branch for excellent service once had agreed a sale and for his support pushing it all through in a very timely manner.

We were always kept up to date with any developments from offer through to exchange and completion. When things were stalling, Felix stepped in to move things forward and acted as an extremely helpful go-between for us and the sellers. I'd recommend Conran and Felix to anyone looking to buy or sell a property in the area.

Of course they were acting on behalf of the sellers but as a buyer, i truly felt they had my best interests at heart and kept me updated as I went through the process. 18th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

1st Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)I highly recommend Next Door properties as the estate agent to work with if you are interested in finding available quality rental homes in London. The staff, (Omar in particular) were informative, professional and spared no efforts in ensuring that the needs of the landlord and renter were met. Omar and team, with their wonderful personalities also managed to transform something quite transactional in nature (renting a home) into an experience where I truly felt that my needs (and those of my family) were put above all else. A wonderful experience renting with Next Door Properties and without doubt the best customer service i have experienced during my time in the U.K.
