11th Dec 2025 (7 mo. ago)I cannot speak highly enough of the Team at Browne Estates, particularly Ian and Jo. They recently sold my flat in Bromley. Communication was really good, I was kept up to date on the progress and they went above and beyond in regards to assisting with issues, questions and communication between myself and the buyer. My solicitor was dragging their heals so really appreciate everything they did to get the sale over the line.

8th Apr 2026 (17 weeks ago)John and Dee did an excellent job for us, showing perseverance, determination and professionalism at every step of our house sale process. They restored our faith after we'd had a poor experience with another estate agent. Working with John Alan, we got clear-eyed valuation, proactive updates, suggested solutions, and all with a friendly and reliable service. We are beyond grateful to John and Dee for their commitment to our sale and highly recommend them, they are a cut above all other local estate agents. If you are selling in South East London John Alan should be your first choice.

27th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Thought they were great to begin with then realised they were not! If you're thinking of renting a residential property from them consider if you'd like to live with a hole in your kitchen roof for weeks without being fixed, if you want your deposit properly protected in a scheme and if you want your deposit back without taking action against them. Seriously incompetent staff, rude and disrespectful. The flat we rented was one of 3, "refurbished" (if you can call it that) office buildings (Oh yeah, they take their commercial buildings and flip them haha!) with what I am guessing is no insulation, black mould throughout and a roof that held 4 inches+ of water which caused a leak and the roof to be taken out, then left. I had to fight for my deposit back because the idiot of an estate agent that went on holiday didn't send the new tenant a contract. No cover, no communication. All lacking in any kind of critical thinking. The list goes on.... AVOID!

They are not refunding a deposit and finding unrealistic excuses not to refund the deposit. I won't recommend anyone to work for the company. As someone new to the country, I had many questions, and they were incredibly kind and patient, always ready to assist. The agent we worked with was very knowledgeable and made the entire moving process smooth and hassle-free. Our landlord was also thoughtful enough to leave us items to help us settle in, which was such a warm welcome. I am very thankful for their wonderful service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive letting agency.
