7th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Impossible to contact via phone, they don't even bother replying to your emails, why on Earth would I ever want to rent a property that forces you to email for the likes of repairs, when you can't even reply to someone registering interest? Trash company.
22nd Mar 2023 (3 years ago)Poor communication between staff who I felt not genuine when asking questions. One staff member extremely rude me accused of phoning on Saturday when he had been connected by the office who had phoned me!! Told us we were patronising!! Also they did not listen to my requests and told me I was a difficult client because I was quite specific in the type of client I wanted to rent my house to. The customer does not come first in this business .Charges for services ridiculously high but they do not communicate back to you when you raise a query with them. Would never use again and not recommend.
31st Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)Kirsty who works in Prescot branch. She helped me so much, I was nervous, upset and worried of how I was going to get a new home. She explained every step of the journey, telling me not to worry all the time, she kept updating me daily on the progress and made me feel happy, regardless of how many times I text and rang her she was always willing and happy to help. I am not at the moment of moving in my new furniture, which I am so relieved and the process as been quick and now I can finally get some sleep. All the staff in the branch where very helpful at all times. Thank you all for all your help. Especially Kirsty who as helped me throughout in a lovely pleasant manner and smile. You our very lucky to have such a amazing employee. Thanks again Jane

Firstly the way that Charlotte dealt with our negotiations over the purchase were 1st rate and Katy for helping keep our spirits up when manoeuvring through the constantly changing housing market after 2 failed sales. Would highly recommend Nicholls and Barnes. Thanks again

They are very professional, they respond to emails and inquiries quickly and offer a very personal service. They also ensure that any repairs are addressed as soon as possible. They are a pleasure to deal with!

They were always at the end of a phone, they constantly pushed the property, even in the difficult weeks when things were slow, they never gave up. Even after we received and accepted an offer, they were always there to keep things on track and sort out any issues with solicitors etc. Great service and great value for money.
13th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)Tom and Joanna worked tirelessly to find a tenant for our property. The first tenant pulled out at the last moment so they had to start again. Then, last November 2023, we finally had a signed lease and a lovely tenant. Thank you guys and will be recommending SK to others.

16th May 2022 (3 years ago)Booked an appointment to go see a unit we were keen about, 2 other people also took time off work. We arrived onsite to no one to show from legat Owens, and then the landlady arrived to ask us what we were doing as the unit has been rented out for the last 3 months. So thank you legat Owens for completely wasting our time and letting us book time off work for a unit which isn’t for rent.

31st Mar 2026 (1 day ago)I first approached David Davies in August 2022, when they let my property on my behalf after my employers sent me on an overseas contract at short notice. They were completely transparent with the whole process and their fully managed system left me not having to worry about my property. The tenants they found were amazing and looked after the property. They dealt with all of the legal requirements for letting; (I'd never let a property before!!) and they kept me up to date with everything. They did such a good job that when my situation changed earlier this year and I decided to sell the property, I chose them for this task too. They provided me with a first-class service and genuinely got me a higher sale price than I'd hoped for the property. What impressed me greatly was their response times to emails; even when the person that I'd emailed was out of office. (I've dealt with many organisations where you can be waiting ages for a reply!!). Someone would always pick it up and I'd get a reply extremely quickly. To Laura, Ben, Lorraine, Georgia and team; thank you very much. You're all amazing!! I'd highly recommend the David Davies team for anything property related in the area.
8th Feb 2026 (7 weeks ago)Marc Cox was a great choice of estate agent. Competitively priced. He told us exactly what we needed to do. Communication was fast and clear. House went under offer quickly. Would definitely recommend and if we were staying local we would use again.

28th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)If I could give 0 stars, I would. Where do I start? Fridge did not work for 14 months and they attended to arrange a replacement in August 2022. This didn’t get installed until October 2023. In this time, the freezer stopped working. The Dishwasher stopped working. Our sinks were blocked from the previous tenant, the balcony doorframes were rotten, they’d lost the keys for the window in the bedroom, the previous tenant had left furniture despite it being unfurnished. They said it had “freshly been painted” and then in the inventory put “in 2017”. Then, we had a leak behind our toilet, and the toilet was constantly flushing, it took them over 2 months to address this and inflicted a £600 bill which they have refused to contribute towards. Their service is abysmal, their understanding of regulation is appalling, and I would warn any tenant off letting with Mistoria. I am approaching the property ombudsman. Edit** - The white goods were replaced after 14 MONTHS. Your response is utter rubbish.

They are extremely professional, communicative, approachable, flexible and honest in their approach. They work to suit yours and potential buyers availability which is such a refreshing change. Ben who managed our sale has also been so supportive of our buyers who are first time buyers trying to navigate and understand what can be a very overwhelming process.
