The valuation team I would say operated with double standards and had a conflict of interest which went against us as the vendor. In short why tell us a price we could get. A price if we wanted to sell quickly and then when asked again by a builder that we asked to do a part exchange with. You tell them a quick sale price of nearly £80k less than you told us. Very odd. One could be forgiven for thinking that it was intentional in order to not loose us and our sale commission value. Cynical? Maybe. But instinct and intelligence tells me otherwise.

12th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)Everyone at Moore and York seems to be really helpful and very quick with responses on email or on the phone, however Natasha never seems to do anything, every time I email her regarding something someone else always replies as she clearly just doesn’t deal withit herself, every-time I call for her shes always out of the office or gone for the day, I would definitely recommend using Moore and York but would highly recommend not to contact Natasha and contact the others in the office.

Kept me informed as what was going on regularly with regards to viewings & how my sale was progressing. Kept on top of mine & buyers solicitors to make sure everything was moving along as it should do. Organised the removal of any items of furniture that I didn’t want through a charity. Thanks to a job well done
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Buying a home can be stressful at the best of times, but the team kept everything moving smoothly and were always easy to deal with. A big shoutout to Kerry Thomas, who's been fantastic throughout. She was open and transparent throughout the whole process, kept me updated without me ever needing to chase, and was always happy to answer any questions.
