30th Mar 2023 (1 year ago)Signed for a no fee deal including legal fees. Paid £200 up front. The buyer of my property dragged on for months resulting in me losing my house purchase. Dowena then refused to pay the legal fees despite the agreement costing me over £400 in fees for nothing. Very immoral company.

15th Oct 2024 (13 weeks ago)I recently rented and sold a flat with bridgfords Washington and unfortunately I’ve been left very disappointed with the service provided. Bridgfords were noticeably more expensive than competitors (I.e. 40% premium on other estate agents) and the service provided when selling the flat was poor overall. When I’d call their offices I would either not be able to get through or would be promised a callback which wouldn’t materialise which was very frustrating. The sale of my flat took 10 months with no chain and it realistically shouldn’t have taken anywhere near this long. A lot of the delays were caused by unresponsiveness either by bridgfords or by their recommended solicitors (which were also unresponsive and expensive compared to competitors). This poor service was disappointing and could have largely been avoided. Without emails/calls chasing there were weeks which would pass when nothing progressed. I was advised by bridgfords to end tenancy (2 months notice) as I was under the impression that completion was imminent, after tenants moved out the flat was empty for nearly 2 months which increased unnecessary costs of owning the vacant flat. Unfortunately at this stage I wouldn’t recommend using bridgfords.
2nd May 2023 (1 year ago)Booked an appointment for a valuation. They failed to show and then said it was system error. If they can't turn up to valuations doesn't fill with confidence for arranging viewings. Will use someone else.

From sale and purchase through to completion they were professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Tess in particular handled our sale/purchase progression and was, without doubt, the most helpful and competent person we dealt with throughout any of the transactions. On so many occasions her knowledge helped us to keep the transactions progressing. She recognised our situation and did absolutely everything she could, going above and beyond, to support us at a very stressful time. Thanks very much!

Her enthusiasm for the property and its potential is what made me choose Mike Rogerson over the other agents who came to value it and I was not disappointed. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of selling a property

17th Oct 2024 (13 weeks ago)Awful experience with this company. Had a viewing of a house, member of staff was late. i was not shown round at all, felt rushed and very rude uninterested staff member. Mad an offer and still have had no reply, had to chase myself twice and told numerous times they would get back to me and still nothing. Would not recommend this estate agent. Couldn't imagine how unprofessional it would be once an offer was accepted.
19th Nov 2024 (8 weeks ago)In my honest and truthful opinion, I had a negative experience with Bedebrooke - without naming names. I found there to be an undercurrent of rudeness within their communications, and if someone asked me if I would personally recommend them, I'd decline to do so.
23rd Dec 2024 (22 days ago)A very positive experience. The property was let within a week and the administration and communication was very efficient throughout. I received feedback on viewings and I was kept up to date throughout the whole process of letting the property. The team are excellent and I would have no hesitation in using Ben Charles again in the future.

It's now been circa 6 months and they refuse to send the confirmation code to the Deposit Protection Scheme. Clearly due the full amount as they never stated within 7 days of tenancy leaving that there would be deductions. Stay away, you would have a better time living in the street than renting through these lot, I know because after leaving that property I spent 3 months homeless.

Sean the valuer does everything he can to market the properties realistically. lynn and Beth do everything they can to help and Pauline going out of her way to meet me with a set of keys.I was dealing with a difficult tenant and this branch went out of their way to assist.- 28th Nov 2024 (7 weeks ago)The values that came out was great, he was so friendly and made the process very easy.
