29th May 2026 (16 days ago)We unfortunately needed to transfer to another PM due to them shutting down and were referred to BRH (blessing in disguise), we've been with them for 4 years and I can honestly say they were highly likely the best referral out of the other options we had for the area. It started with a call with Carl Agar who gave us the assurances from their establishment and how long they have been around for which then made me comfortable to sign with them. Ever since then we only got the best guidance and solutions suited to our plans. Along that journey we had their property manager in our care, Amy, who was top-notch through and through. She left and came back which we were so happy about! Alongside them, Carly, who was in the admin team, has now been promoted and I could have easily seen that happening from a mile away or recommended it myself. Carly was always reliable (Happy voice) or accommodating our needs, she always understood, organized and communicated as a landlord would want. Never questioning but answering or providing solutions. How I felt with BRH was even though I knew our portfolio wasn't huge, I didn't ever feel like we were "the little guys." We were treated with care and urgency when needed, and we were never deprioritized. Further along our journey, Georgia took over from Amy and she was on point too, so you can tell they hire only people with the right level of expertise. Our journey needed to come to an end because of circumstances, so it was time for us to sell. BRH assigned Josh to the opportunity who was already introduced to us at that point. So we knew we were in good hands as he always went the extra mile for us, we also reluctantly asked for small favours but they were never questioned but done. But primarily the reason why we still chose to go ahead with BRH for our sale was his expertise and professionalism. The way they evaluate our property and the way they present us to the open market gave us, I felt, the best exposure to achieve our sale. We managed to complete on both the agreed terms and timeline we expected. IF we do ever come back to the market for this area, I would be happy to reach out to BRH again.

16th May 2026 (29 days ago)We rented with 1st Fields for almost 8 years and cannot recommend them highly enough. Any issues we had were immediately addressed and communication was always prompt. If you're a clean tenant and punctual with the rent, you'll find no better letting agency. Connor and Holly x
21st Feb 2026 (16 weeks ago)Having approached 3 estate agents to value the property I was most impressed by the work undertaken from the outset by Steven Goff. Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition. Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.

25th Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)We experienced ongoing issues with repairs not being addressed (a bathroom light remained broken for several months after a leak). We were also asked to conduct viewings ourselves before moving out, which we did not feel was our responsibility. On moving in, there were also cleanliness issues, including mould in the washing machine drawer and cupboards left full of cleaning products from previous occupancy. We later found these same items referenced when deductions from our deposit were discussed, which was frustrating. Overall, prospective tenants may wish to ensure maintenance expectations and check-in inventories are clearly documented before signing.

15th May 2026 (30 days ago)James at Merryweathers was lovely. Came to do valuation and handled all the viewings. Every contact with him was very professional and he took the stress out of the selling process. Overall an excellent experience. Would highly recommend.

This agent doesn't have any reviews- 28th Sep 2025 (8 mo. ago)Im 62 yrs of age and never sold a house before (lived in same house since got married) so when my mum passed away I was left in a fortunate position where I had a house to sell. As I had no previous experience of selling, I asked my friend to accompany me with the valuation appointments. After 2 appointments which we both agreed undervalued the house and seemed only interested in a quick sale one very eager for me to sign there and then. So we decided to try Hunters Estate Agents Hillsborough Helen arrived and all of a sudden felt this meeting were different at last someone who treated this house with respect and compassion it deserved after all this was our family home for 57 yrs and held a lot of memories and Helen did just that treated it like a family home and not a commodity. Without even going to detail re charges knew we had already made our minds up ????. The charges were very very reasonable and she even sorted a solicitor out for us in our case used Taylor and Emmett who again cant fault on the price they charged and the first-class service we received from them. The marketing of the property was excellent from the brochure, photos and viewings think we got 18 views in first week and numerous offers. From middle April to 22nd September all now completed form start to finish excellent communication from Helen, Lauren and Emily nothing too much trouble all in all excellent service. Think for me to sum this up if you looking for an Estate Agent do not look any further than Hunters Hillsborough.

The team is very professional and knowledgeable, and they took the time to understand what we wanted and arranged great viewings. Eric explained everything clearly—from layouts to locations to the buying process, and always looked out for our best interests. He was reliable, efficient, and quick to solve any issues. Highly recommended!
