6th Jun 2026 (15 weeks ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.

21st Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)Having approached 3 estate agents to value the property I was most impressed by the work undertaken from the outset by Steven Goff. Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition. Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.

The whole team were absolutely lovely, they kept us informed throughout the process and gave us advice when we asked for it. We were in very safe and competent hands all the way through what can be a stressful process.- 12th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)The ladies at Hunters did everything I could of asked for and more. Always attentive, always informative, treated you as a person and not just another sale to get commission on, listened to what I wanted and did everything in their power to achieve that. Sadly we sold at a difficult time when the market was quite depressed so viewings did not come easily. Hunters were pragmatic about the situation and doubled efforts to get a sale. I cannot thank them enough for their attitude and friendliness.
