13th Mar 2026 (24 days ago)I am a landlord using Portico for the first time. I have to say that Portico were streets ahead of the other estate agents I have dealt with in SW London. They were responsive, flexible and had two quality tenants for two flats within 4 days. This is the first time I have achieved, as tenant, a couple rather than 2 sharers. Hats off to Flora and her team.
24th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)Of three agents in Caterham, we selected Hamptons, not because they said they could get us the highest price, but because they believed in the estimate they gave and it was aligned with what we believed too! A few minor hiccups in comms at the beginning but once sorted the service was excellent. We had several of their sales staff show people around and Elliot brought the winning couple over and handled the comms from there. The sale and onwards purchase was fraught with challenges and took way longer than it would with issues in the chain (of 7 properties). None of them related to our sale or purchase, but Elliot was instrumental in having the whole chain talking to each other and providing almost daily updates. and speedy responses to any email we sent. (Thanks Elliot!). A special mention also to Carrie who took over while Elliot was away without missing a beat and was also very forceful?????? at making things happen. (Thanks to you too Carrie!) All in all, a great experience. Thanks to the whole team behind the scenes too, you know who you are.

She took the time to really understand what we needed and was very thoughtful in bringing us the best deals and options on the market that suited us, rather than just pushing something generic. She is excellent at managing client relationships, and what made the biggest difference was how personally invested and supportive she was. She connected with us very naturally, showed real empathy, and helped guide us through some stressful moments with patience, reassurance, and professionalism. Working with her felt both efficient and genuinely human, and I would not hesitate to recommend her.

They handle all aspects of the tenancy - they've always provided great advice on getting the best rental price, finding new tenants, covering all areas of compliance and ensuring that I comply with my obligations as a landlord. Terri Tristram is my contact there, and she always provides proactive, speedy and helpful advice. I'm very happy to be working with them.
6th Mar 2026 (4 weeks ago)JDW contacted us about a buyer although we hadnt planned to sell imminently. Despite a difficult market JDW were confident and determined to make the sale. After a short negotiation the sale was finalised and contracts exchanged. This was the easiest sale in 30 years.
25th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)Chattertons helped us to sell our house (that they helped us buy 5 years ago!) and we were beyond happy with their service, they’ve helped many of family members too so can thoroughly recommend! Not only did they help keep our buyers happy and patient but they also consulted on our onward purchase and went above and beyond many times giving their expert advice on the market, negotiating and more. It was great to know you had someone on your side in something that can often be intimidating and frustrating. Jen was handling our case and she was great throughout. 8th Feb 2026 (8 weeks ago)I felt the agent had a lack of knowledge and understanding of our local area, and was too focused on metrics rather than seeing the advantages of our particular property over some of the other properties around us. I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

All the communication that we had with them was very professional and they did exactly what they said they would- 23rd Mar 2026 (14 days ago)I recently made one of the biggest changes in my life so far, deciding to move. After 12years at my previous and it being my first ever home i was extremely anxious and thrown into the unknown however, langford/acorn estate agents were from the beginning, to the end and even after the end still now, have been amazing and have and continue to support me in my new venture, any questions or queries i had/have. They have been so polite and proffessional through out and made sure my moving process went with as much ease as possible and they are always available by phone or email and engage with you. And Molly especially who initially showed me round the property when i was just viewing was so lovely and empathetic and understanding. Also Lilia who was another agent just as lovely and helpful who also supported me for a time when initial agent was unavailable, their all really nice people. No pushing or rushing or going through the motions . . .truly supporting and nice person through out from the beginning. Even now after a few weeks now settling in, molly and the team are still just as available and just as helpful and supporting and the communication between agent, landlord and tenant is and has been stress free and smooth. And i couldnt be any happier in my new home and truly given me a new peaceful relaxing and content life considering i have bad anxiety molly was extremely supportive and reasuring and continues to be so. So yeh, i cant thankyou all enough for your efficiency, proffessionalism and how smooth you made the process and transition amd all the help and assistance you have provided, and continue to provide. 27th Mar 2026 (10 days ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!
