He answered all of our questions quickly and gave us all the information we needed, making the moving experience stress free and easy to navigate. We are very grateful, and thankful for all his help :)
15th Mar 2026 (10 weeks ago)DO NOT use these agents. We got agreed a house we loved and it got put as sold etc. Next day we got gazumped by another person who put in a much higher offer even after it was sold stc. Most agents do not entertain offers after sold etc and whilst I understand agents can legally pass on offers even after agreeing a sale and that gazumping is legal in UK, they obviously passed on the offer as they want the extra commission and we lost out the property. We are not going to get into any bidding war and raise our offer up higher than we did as a matter of principle as nice as the home was- properties come and go and we will find a better one. But please avoid them as when I have called multiple other agents in the past- once a sale is agreed, they just say that and dont emtertain offers as a courtesy but Robinson Jackson did. Deeply disappointed with the agents, with the person who put in the offer as they have no shame, and with the sellers who even accepted this after agreeing with us. Disappointing and will not trust them again.
16th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)This was a poor experience for us. The young man, Diandre, at first couldn't have been nicer and he really didn't do anything wrong but the overall handling of our viewing experiences was just unnecessary and a waste of our time, and theirs in the end. Lettings Agents like these only want young full time workers to deal with. People who have a job to lose, are somehow are a safer bet than an older stable couple with checkable histories. Suffice to say they did enough to ensure we didn't call it outright discrimination but the end answer was "no" even if we could easily have afforded the two properties we were interested in. And we showed several times that we could. Be warned, if you have ANY type of benefit within your income (including salaryand atate pension, these people will not treat you fairly and you will not even be allowed to progress to referencing, their answer to you will always be "no". They'd rather lose tens of thousands of pounds per tenant than rent to older, sensible people who.can clearly afford the rent. It is truly shocking how we have been treated. Do not rent with them, if you value transparency, stability and respect you will be disappointed and they will waste your time and tell you "No. Just no", was the last word. Not that we had failed any checks or had bad refs. So disappointing for us and our children. They feel like we have done something wrong.- 6th May 2026 (15 days ago)Shannaigh has done a great job managing our rental property. She is always attentive and responsive. We have had several minor repairs etc to deal with but each of them was handled diligently to reduce the stress. Highly recommended.
7th Apr 2026 (6 weeks ago)Imagine being so unprofessional that you schedule a viewing, talk so highly about your agency and then be extremely lame enough to not show up for the viewing. I had the absolute displeasure to deal with James Setright who scheduled a viewing and then forgot to show up at 308, Garratt Lane address at the time of the viewing. My partner travelled an hour to reach the address and then viola, nobody shows up, I call up and James picks up and tells me that there’s nothing he could do and the best he could do is to schedule it for another day. Whilst being civil and acting like he cared, there was absolutely no other alternative offered. I just feel sorry for the seller here, since they should pick up someone more professional and reasonable to deal with. To anyone at John D Wood who’s the owner, it’s not only hard to schedule viewings and reach your staff but they are just incredibly bad to deal with and make basic errors that are just blasphemous for. The nature of the business.

19th May 2026 (2 days ago)Had a very poor experience with Jamie, one of the estate agents. After making an offer on a flat in Brockley, he came across as condescending, patronising and to be frank, rather rude. He went as far as making a few snide remarks. In the end, I withdrew the offer as I wouldn't be comfortable with him managing the process. Surprisingly poor sales acumen from "professional" estate agent.

8th Feb 2026 (15 weeks ago)I felt the agent had a lack of knowledge and understanding of our local area, and was too focused on metrics rather than seeing the advantages of our particular property over some of the other properties around us. I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

1st May 2026 (20 days ago)I think buying and selling a house is stressful enough, and this is why we loved working with Strickland: Jamie and Terence are two REAL people who REALLY cared and did treat our sale and purchase like what it really meant to us, not just another transaction on their schedule. They have been reasonable (honestly, it may sound like an odd compliment but it’s just so hard to find reasonable people these days!), kind, proactive, an absolute pleasure to work with. I did genuinely trust them and I would do so again with no hesitation. The only issue now is that we’ll need to move again to have an excuse to hang out with them! ??????
