Instead of attempting to resolve the situation with the landlord or offering a formal apology, the communication was extremely rude and lacking in basic professionalism.
1st Apr 2026 (8 days ago)Ellisons valuation to completion in 8 WEEKS! An INCREDIBLE team (Aidan, Amanda, Lewis) that we are so glad we went with to sell our house. The only things you can control in selling a property is 1. The condition/presentation of your house and 2. The estate agent you choose. With a competitive buy process, we had to move quickly to secure our dream home, therefore we did ALOT of research before we choose the agent. This was our logic for Ellisons: 1. They have good amount of local listings in our price range - meaning they will likely have a good database of active buyers 2. Their listing to sale ratio was high - showing they don't just list properties, they price them correctly and actively sell them 3. They have good online reviews 4. They showed up prepared to the valuation with a strategy to sell the property - strong local knowledge 5. They didn't ask for a long lock in contract and had reasonable fees - they were confident they could sell What this resulted in was; a curated list of potential buyers that fitted in with our timeline, a single open day for our house (minimising the disruption of viewings), active communication from the buyers for feedback/second viewings and professional negotiation on our behalf to close the deal. We are over the moon with our new house and it is all thanks to Aidan, Amanda and Lewis - thank you so much, we wish you all the best.

She gives as much details as possible about a property goes into indepth search to attend all enquires. She deserves a 6 star rating- 16th Mar 2026 (24 days ago)Throughout the purchase of our flat, Soraya J's help was invaluable. From the first viewing she was proactive, very helpful and responsive. Nothing was too much trouble. We hit various issues - some small others potentially serious - during the course of the purchase but her ability to bring parties together to get answers and find information quickly which otherwise would have been really difficult was outstanding. Very highly recommended indeed. We couldn't have been in better hands.

Right from his initial appraisal he understood precisely what needed to be done and the timescale it needed doing in. He priced the property perfectly and marketed it impeccably. Nothing was ever too much trouble and his experience and expertise went over and above anything I expected. The team at Jackson-Stops arranged quality viewings and always gave prompt and honest feedback throughout the sales process. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jackson-Stops Dorking.

24th Mar 2026 (16 days ago)I had the pleasure to work with Charlie Jones from the Croydon branch and Andrea Wright from the Crystal Palace branch in finding my first home. Charlie was a huge huge support for me over this long process, from the very first viewing till completion. He is very well informed about a wide range of topics, from real estate, taxes, house buying tips etc... and as a first time buyer I learnt a lot from him. He would regularly check in, update me and keep me informed about everything that was happening on the seller's side too. Thank you for making the process less stressful!
16th Mar 2026 (24 days ago)Transition from Dubai to London was very stressful and had no to limited idea about rentals in London however after contacting several people and agents we found Allen Goldstein and met Lui . Lui was fantastic to work with during our rental search in London. He was very responsive, helpful, and made the whole process much easier than we expected. He kept us informed every step of the way and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend Lui if you’re looking for a rental in London.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Friendly, personable and professional from the outset, I can genuinely say they are the best estate agent I have dealt with. This was especially highlighted throughout a stressful conveyancing process. The entire team were incredibly helpful and empathetic; always happy to facilitate communication between the various parties involved. A special nod to Fern who went above and beyond to support us. 26th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)STAY AWAY!! I first put my property on rent with foxtons. the manager at the Margot told me as this was the second property I was letting with Foxtons there would be no charges for 6months. This was a tactic to get my business as when the tenant was found they only wanted a 6 month let. I was told the next tenancy the discount would be applied. However, when the time arrived Margot stopped responding and then I was told that the deal was finished and they could not uphold this. As they ( Charlie) found tenants I went to foxtons again, big mistake. The tenants were awful and Foxtons did not help at all. Once Foxtons took over £5k for their fees from the rent they did nothing to help the situation with the tenants. The tenants then tried to place legal action based on misrepresentation of the property that Foxtons advertised. When I alerted Foxtons , Foxtons have tried to put the blame back on myself. I have asked for the managers details 3 time via email but still do not get it. I have request a SAR so awaiting this as Foxtons has said I did not inform them that the roof was not demised the flat ( which I did numerous times). All I have asked Foxtons for was to refund me the fees from now til the end of the tenancy so the tenants can leave ( as this is their preference) but Foxtons refuse. Honestly stay away.
