1st Nov 2026 (5 days ago)Tiah from Griffin was honestly such a pleasure to deal with when finding my new flat She was always so lovely, friendly and approachable, and made the experience of finding a property that little bit easier.
Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was always happy to answer my questions and help whenever I needed something. It’s so nice to come across someone who is genuinely pleasant and lovely which makes the whole experience feel easy and stress-free.
Thank you, Tiah, for being so helpful and lovely throughout. I really appreciate it and would happily recommend her to anyone looking to buy a property!????????????
23rd Apr 2022 (4 years ago)I found them very ineffectual in the process with constant mistakes our house seems to have the sale going through but it was my husband that showed people around I believe by the interest that we had from day one that their estimate on the value was too low and you have to chase them for every piece of information

6th Jul 2026 (18 weeks ago)From the initial engagement, advice on house preparation, viewings, offers and eventual sale, Chesters Estates are the ultimate professionals.
We had a very quick sale and no issues at all. Communication was excellent and they completely owned the process, liaising with the buyers, conveyancing and myself, keeping me informed at every step.
We got a fair price for the property and Chesters' own costs were very reasonable too.
I would highly recommend Chesters - A++++.

They always answer the phone and any questions, everything is documented and explained, nothing is too much trouble. Effective communication is essential, and they truly excelled at it!

Jacob and Michelle were fantastic with practically instant responses to any enquiries. Jacob marketed the property extremely well and provided great feedback from viewings. Michelle dealt with sales progression and definitely saved things from falling through when it came to crunch time, hero!
5th Oct 2022 (4 years ago)We had a really bad experience with this estate agent, so beware.
We had an offer accepted on a property, Jerome did the usual of taking our ID, proof of deposit, agreement in principle etc and confirmed acceptance.
Three weeks later our solicitor raised our attention to the fact that the sellers solicitor had yet to issue draft contracts. After another week I finally got hold of Jerome who confirmed that the seller wouldn't issue the draft contract until we had a confirmed mortgage offer on the property. I told Jerome that wasn't the normal sequence we were familiar with, but he assured me that was how sales progressed in his experience.
We went back to our solicitor who advised us that they would indeed normally wait for draft contracts to be issued before proceeding with searches and surveys etc. So we gave the sellers solicitor a deadline before we would reconsider the offer.
On the day of the deadline the seller issued a race contract and advised us that there was another interested party who's offer had also been accepted and the seller would exchange with the party which secured a mortgage offer first.
I don't know whether Jerome was aware that the seller had accepted multiple offers when we had our conversation, but my instinct at the time told me he wasn't being open and honest about the sellers intentions.
So beware of this agent in case they try this with you.

Minimal viewings
Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage
No communication from the estate agent
I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

Selling a flat, starting a new job and moving into a new home all within the space of a week is quite something (!) but having her at the other end of the phone keeping things moving, communicating so brilliantly and working so hard to get everything over the line is making such a difference.
She’s been consistently kind, proactive and reassuring - I really hope she knows how much that is appreciated!
