24th Oct 2024 (13 weeks ago)We used Carter Jonas in Oxford, England to rent out our property and I was overall very satisfied with the service they provided. I didn´t have to do any chasing as things progressed nicely in a timely manner and they were very good at getting back to me with updates. Their rates were also much better than the other common letting agencies. The only small thing that can be improved is the delay between tenants paying the rent to Carter Jonas and the day it is received by the landlord, if that can be reduced it would further increase the satisfaction. But overall I would recommend Carter Jonas.

15th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Very bad experience: They could not provide me a single suggestion in almost one month despite the fact that I was ready to pay up to £1250. Although, they put me under great stress and made me believe that I can’t get any house below £1200 and can’t get less than 2 bedroom for family with a baby. It is because of them I did not search for less than 2 bedroom property for a long, assuming I can’t get that, which was incorrect. Every time, I called them they said it is not in their area and they will send my details to other office. Once, I spent around 4-5 hours to fill a form to apply for a property whose result they never shared with me. I expressed my interest to view many properties but mostly I did not get a response because they already had many applications for that property. Feedback for the agent to improve: 1.First, be transparent and responsive to the customers. If there are many applications for some property then convey that to the customers instead of keeping quite. Reply each email/call. 2.You have multiple offices in Oxford and you have advantage so use that to help the customers and not for torturing them. There is no communication (at least customer oriented) between your different branches. Your people just pass responsibility to other branches. For example, I called several times to show interest in some property then I was told that that property is not in their area. First, they should help the customers instead of passing on the things. Secondly, give the customer options available with you (customer might get interested in property available with you) instead of getting rid of them.

Michelle has gone above and beyond what I would have expected. I would recommend to absolutely anyone. Also Michelle was very supportive and promptly responded to all the queries and advised in the best manner. Would highly recommend Michelle if you are looking for a mortgage or a remortgage. 9th Jul 2023 (1 year ago)Would not recommend this estate agents. I had to chase them for feedback every time (however, only had 7 viewings in 4 months!) didn’t hear from them at all for 7 weeks! NO communication at all!! Arranged viewings with totally unsuitable prospective buyers (e.g. a lady with an electric car who wanted to install an electric hook up when there is no driveway-on street parking). Felt forgotten about as the office wasn’t in our town. Worse than disappointing.

Amanda, James and the team were very supportive through a tricky exchange and we couldn't have made it over the line without them - this kind of support is just something you don't get through some of the big name estate agents! Filipe went above and beyond to help me firstly make me feel welcome and also to find the perfect home, making what can often be a stressful process incredibly smooth and enjoyable. From the very beginning, Filipe demonstrated exceptional professionalism, deep knowledge of the property, and an impressive attention to detail. He took the time to truly understand my needs and preferences, ensuring every property he showed me was truly what I needed and answered all my wish lists. His friendly demeanour and clear communication made it easy to trust him every step of the way. What stood out most was Filipe's dedication to making sure I was completely satisfied. He was always available to answer my questions, provide honest advice, and ensure that the process moved forward seamlessly. Initially, we were struggling to find somewhere to live in Oxford and our experiences with other letting agencies was stressful to say the least. Rosie was the first lettings negotiator we dealt with that was empathetic to our struggles. Rather than pressuring us into making an immediate decision, we were given time to consider making an offer, and Rosie and was a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. We highly recommend renting with Savills (and Rosie in particular) if you're looking for somewhere to live in Oxford.
