I feel very let down by this company, My daughter's went to view an apartment for us, to see if it was worth our 2 and a half drive viewing, they said it was ok, so we went to see it and showed our interest only to be told there was a offer for asking price, we upped our offer but then was told it had been sold! Before giving us a chance to up our previous offer. Devastated.

The whole team at Allen and Harris have been absolutely fantastic. Mark valued our house and was very open and honest with me about it, showing exactly where his figures were coming from which I really appreciated. I then felt totally looked after by the whole team as we went to sell with communication being on point. Knowing that they were actively perusing sales, not just waiting for viewings was a great experience that led to a really high uptake in initial viewings very shortly after going to market, and an offering being accepted within a week. While we've dealt with lots of people at the branch, every single one of them has been friendly, welcoming, authentically personable and professional, so I knew we were in safe hands. Even going into the office it felt like we were being welcomed into a family. The ease of doing everything through Allen and Harris/Sequence was invaluable as well and we're so grateful for their help in setting everything up. I saw a flat I liked that was being sold by Allen and Harris. I booked a viewing for Friday evening with Lisa Cox. Lovely lady, extremely friendly and very helpful. She showed me round and answered all my questions and more. I put in an offer, and a couple more, and she kept me informed straight away and a price was agreed on the following Monday. She was as excited as I was when she told me that the offer had been accepted.

We had tried to sell our house three times just prior to and throughout the pandemic, each time a buyer would pull out further down the chain, the house we wanted got taken off the market and overall we lost our dream houses twice. However, we have finally sold our through A&H Witney and have secured the 'Official Dream House' and it's fair to say that it wouldn't have happened without Alex and the team fighting our corner at every turn. They have all been great, so responsive to all enquiries and making the whole process so easy to understand. I really can't fault them.... if we ever need to resell this is the Agency we will contact.

We recently sold a property with Allen & Harris Witney. From start to finish the agents were professional, knowledgeable, responsive and dedicated. They sought a qualified buyer, for a very fair price in a short time period, particularly amiss pandemic.
We must add that Alexander Chappell in particular, was invaluable (and exceptional) throughout the entire sale process. And even post-sale! Very reliable, efficient and organised, and his communication skills are top notch. Whether we needed a quick answer to a question (and we had many!!) detailed email or a phone call to explain an intricate process - he was there to ensure our understanding and satisfaction. Moreover to all professional qualities, he defines a decent human . There is no other sales agent I would rather have had representing my family and I. A true asset to this particular firm. We just cannot say enough.

I rarely post reviews on service companies or products, but Allen & Harris Witney (especially Alex Chappell) undoubtedly deserve a 5-star rating!
My sale was with Purple Bricks (never again) but my purchase was being handled by Allen & Harris. They combined great customer service (even though I wasn't strictly speaking their customer), knowledge and communication through a very difficult time with multiple poor standard conveyancers in the chain.
Moving house is stressful enough as it is, so anyone who can help alleviate some of the angst and make you feel less isolated deserves to be recognised.
Allen & Harris is most definitely one of those companies!

The staff in branch were very efficient and competent. The forced closure due to Covid-19 did interrupt the sale process but a new purchaser was found swiftly after reopening.
We also used Blacks solicitors, as recommended by Allen and Harris. Communication with the solicitor was poor. Even staff in branch had difficulty trying to get feedback for us on the developments of the sales process. This lack of communication from the solicitor caused significant stress which could have been avoided. Several mistakes were made in the paperwork by the solicitor which added to the stress. If we sell in the future we would be happy to choose Allen and Harris as an agent again but we would not use the “in house“ solicitor, as we don’t believe it made thing run more smoothly etc.

I first me Rebecca August 2018, she arrived at my home with a handshake and a smile, I liked her instantly and my gut told me this was going to be a good choice in selecting which Estate agency to go with, so before she'd even finished Brown & Merry, Watford were on board. As for agents fee's, well, I think of it like this, if you eat in a restaurant where the food and service is excellent then the cost becomes somewhat immaterial.

Having tirelessly tried to contact the agent on my sons behalf I gave up.
They appear to be non responsive and not very customer focused.
