Achieved the asking price for selling our home in less than 2 weeks when all the other agencies were quoting far lower... Some. Up to £60K below.

These guys talk a good game and they delivered. Slight hiccup with communication meant that we were not informed when the completion date was until we asked. Still, we were impressed by how quickly the legal process passed through. Thank you Catford Team.

We have bought our first property with KFH. The very first moment we have met Marcus, he was very convincing. We would have never thought that we would be able to buy a house in such a short time, but Marcus and his team made it happen. Marcus was always keeping us up to date with all the sales procedure and helped us in many other way. During his annual leave Alex was looking after us, who also done an amazing job. Who ever is looking towards to buy a property in Catford/Lewisham area I can only highly recommend this branch. They are simply amazing.

Alex was our agent and found us some great places in Catford when we were a little down coming to terms with the fact that Peckham was no longer in our budget. His local knowledge and thorough rundown of all the options made it easier for us get to know the area and come to love it, and eventually buy there. Throughout the purchasing process he made everything run smoothly between all three parties and really went the extra mile on the follow-ups. Highly recommended!

I sold my flat through KFH, completing in November 2019 and whilst I am grateful to them for finding a buyer in a difficult market I found the entire experience much more stressful than it needed to be due to their lack of service.

I initially listed with them in Aug 2018 and we received an offer quickly. However, through no fault of KFH the offer fell through. My agent then lost interest and delegated my sale to the newer members of the team.

I contacted KFH in Jan 2019 to complain that I had not heard anything for a month, and to discuss whether they thought the price needed to be adjusted based on the market. I was first told I was wrong as at the very least they contacted all vendors with their Christmas hours, and then they conceded that they had failed to contact me as there had been a disagreement on whose responsibility it was. They also did not offer me any proactive feedback on the price or give me their opinion on the market until I insisted - I would expect this feedback to be a core part of their service to vendors.

In Spring 2019 I gave notice to KFH based on the poor level of communication but received an offer 2 days before it expired.

A few months into this sale I was asked to supply exchange dates but then was told my purchaser had a small delay their side which should take a month to arrange. 6 weeks later I had to ask what the progress was (as I was planning my own move) and was told it had stalled with no idea how long it would take to fix. No-one at KFH deemed it important news to pass on. This was typical until I finally exchanged - no updates even when there were delays unless I, or the agent I was buying through, contacted them.

Unfortunately our experience with KFH has been very poor.
They operate as Block Manager for a new development we have bought almost a year ago now.
They have already taken the service fee from us (we are 105 in total) but up to now the all block is in a critical state:
- poor cleaning (pigeon excrement all over the inside parking block, posing a threat to health of residents, lifts not working and taking unreasonably long time to be fixed, posing a serious risk especially to the pregnant woman and new mums here in the building) - parking spaces not enforced (causing tension between residents and also causing people from outside the block leaving their cars here).
Really disappointed and worried about the state of our new development in Cricklewood.
As residents we are really worried about the management of our flats and have growing concerns about the seriousness and professionalism of KFH.

We used the Raynes Park branch to sell our property and based on our experience we can see why options such as Purple Bricks are doing so well. I would have expected the cost difference of using a KFH to be reflected in the service but it really did not.
We asked that we were consulted on bookings in advance of them being made, usually we were not and we often had to chase. When we had an offer on the property, communications were not managed well with our buyers which created friction and ultimately led to them pulling out at the last minute costing us a lot of money in lost legal and surveyor fees.
A suggested revised accelerated marketing campaign was an unfortunate waste of time and seemed only to encourage offers well below what we could accept despite us being very clear on our expectations.
This all led to us reluctantly taking our property off the market and losing our onward purchase. Should we choose to go back on again, we see no reason why we would use KFH again.
