I am really happy with the service I have had from the whole office in Caterham, special mentions to Lucy Prior for being very straight talking knowledgable, pleasant and efficient to work with and Alessandra Falcini for being so patient and helpful with some of the complications at the end of the process.
I've just completed a sale yesterday and been dealing with Cubitt and West Caterham for around 8 months. Solicitors do love to complicate things and then go quiet on you cos they're too busy to... whatever. Followed by last minute changes and questions etc . The team in Cubitt and West simply, stayed calm, professional and did everything they could (with in their power) to help and keep things on track both before and after completion.

Great service, I had a few issues throughout the purchase that were beyond the control of the agents.
They handled this in a professional manner, were very upfront with communication, and even picked up on comms out of office hours to help this along
Furthermore the agents I dealt with were kind, calm and considerate even though I was frustrated and impatient with them on a few occasions.

Lucy & her team at C&W have been fantastic.
We had the property advertised with another local agent (P&B)for whom selling our property felt like a chore and made us feel like they were doing us a favour.
The C&W app is easy to use and was updated the next working morning after a viewing so we had no chasing and knew exactly what was being said by potential buyers.
When we accepted an offer Sophie kept us updated through the whole process and chased solicitors on both sides to ensure a speedy completion.
I would not hesitate to use them again and strongly recommend.

I have had an excellent experience with C&W Caterham. I had 1 or 2 negative experiences with previous companies and was becoming a bit despondent. C&W showed great energy and enthusiasm and of course managed to sell my property. They had a constant stream of viewings booked for me and were always on hand to keep me up to date or to answer any questions I had. The portal for viewing feedback was a big plus and was always updated within a few hours of the Monday morning after Saturday viewings. I understand now why I see so many "Sold by C&W" signs all around my area. Would highly recommend

We had the most nightmare of transactions with our house sale, however none of that was down to C&W who worked tirelessly to get things over the line. In what was eventually a nailbiting period owing to issues within the chain outside of most people's control, we managed to complete 6 days before Christmas.
I do confess when we first engaged them it was all a bit rushed (my doing, not theirs) as we were trying to sort a quick sale and purchase elsewhere, to that extent I was concerned at their prices. But over the course of what turned into a LONG drawn out process with what eventually has become our new home, they clearly worked for every penny! From Jos showing us round, to Sylvia progressing things, all via the charm and wit of Ben, the energy and humour of Alessandra, and the calm oversight of Lucy the whole team has my sincere thanks for excellent care and service (and for putting up with my quirks!). I was inundated with unwanted emails and received an inadequate response regarding the need for my date of birth. This behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable. In tricky housing-market times they were realistic and communicative from the start of the process to the end. Having begun the selling process with another agent, we wished that we had instructed C&W sooner. Marketed and photographed realistically, the sales consultants leading viewings were punctual and enthusiastic. Lucy or another member of the team were always on the end of the phone to: answer our queries; clarify procedures; remain unwaveringly practical and professional; and provide a welcome empathetic ear.
Since we also bought our new property through C&W, from a buyer's perspective, the team negotiated in an extremely professional manner, keeping us informed of decisions promptly. Most importantly - we love our new house :)

Sale of a chain free flat in Caterham. Staff are nice and tried to help but majority are not effective. Paul was very helpful, thank you. I would not recommend Cubit and West Caterham as the valuation they gave us was greatly over. We had to cut the price twice over 15 weeks to get people to view it. in the mean time we missed selling in the stamp duty window. Manager was convinced we were correctly priced, and would sell very quickly, not so. We ended up selling greatly under his estimation and it cost us 15 weeks. We feel his over optimism was to get our business.
C & W caterham, also had a lot of extra fees on top of the selling rate, including extra to market it, extra for more photos, the list goes on. They said we had to pay a premium price for a premium product. The total package was considerably more than local competitors, about £1,000 on a 2 bed flat.
Also the contract we had with C&W was very long, 20 weeks, other local estate agents were only 12, hindsight is wonderful. Would have moved estate agents after 12 weeks had the contract been shorter.
Be wary when we did eventually did sell and used their intermediary to liaise between solicitors, another premium selling point, we still ended up having to make many of the calls ourselves and push for the exchange. One hand really didn't know what the other was doing. A protracted, stressful and expensive experience.

Initially I was quite concerned that after 18 months the property I had for sale with Cubitt and West Caterham did not seem to be getting the required attention, virtually no reviews and certainly no sales offers. Then Jayde Boss became my contact, Wow what a difference, honesty, action, reviews and feed back.
The property is presently in the process of a confirmed sale. Jayde has been there all the way.
Sales and service organization need a special type of people. ( I know after being a major company service manager for many years)

Dreadful my property was sold the end of July and im still sat here in mid DECEMBER !!
Since it was sold they have virtually forgot ive existed no email responses no phone calls nothing.
The solicitors they employ J.S LAW ( go and Go their reviews are worse avoid go somewhere else

Getting people through the door to view my property was their strong point. Once a buyer was found, everything went down hill, twice!
Excuses for poor contact, information not properly relayed to the buyer and thus causing lots of problems down the line. It's a shame as some of the staff are excellent at there job. These guys aren't the worst I'm sure but for a premium charging agent, I was very disappointed at the poor communication over various aspects. Shame.

All is lovely until you sign the contract and they have you where they want you, from there it's awful customer service, lack of communication between the branch no one knows what's going on. They even broke the contract by not giving us a sale board, they are full of horrendous excuses we've been fighting for nearly 6 weeks to be removed from contract. We escalated to head office and even they failed to meet their 15 working day response time as outlined in their own complaints policy. The high rates that the buyer has to pay all sounds great for the seller but clearly turns buyers off. Shocking all round...AVOID!!!
