I used Foxtons Beckenham office to sell my period conversion flat. I first had it valued by Foxtons as well as KFH.
Foxtons valued my property at £399,950 and KFH valued my property between £365,000-£385,000. KFH offered a fee of 1.5% + VAT and Foxtons do not negotiate their standard 2.5% + VAT fee. Despite the difference in fee I chose Foxtons as my selling agent as they seemed a lot more professional and enthusiastic about selling my property.
On the second viewing of my property Fin (sales negotiator) received a fantastic offer of £395,000 which we were really happy with being that was £10,000 more than what KFH said they believed they could achieve!
Throughout the process Fin kept all parties updated every step of the way making it feel a lot less stressful. I know my stuff about selling properties, however when it is your own property you are selling it can still be very stressful so I think it's important to use a professional.
I can't thank Fin enough for his efforts in selling my property. From start to finish we received first class service from Foxtons, and more importantly a great price for our property.

Poor service from Foxton's in Beckenham. Firstly offered us a property which we paid the deposit and rent in advance for but they couldnt do the deal due to a broken boiler, then transferred offer to another property with promise that this one was ok however this was delayed due to problems with boiler again.
Over all terrible experience and poor customer service from staff aswell.

1st time buyer so big thank you to Foxtons - Beckenham, especially Alexandra Willis for being such a star. Supportive, friendly and knowledgeable of the buying process and forever changing market. It definitely eased the stress levels.

I would have rated 0 if I could, avoid this branch or the company in general! I had entered Foxtons in Clerkenwell the receptionist was friendly and had taken our details, then sat us down to wait for the lettings negotiater. 5 minutes or so later, a female named Daniela Fernandes who works at Foxtons Clerkenwell had approached us. She had approached us with her mind shut and eyes half closed. She had spoken to us as if she had 1 minute left of her shift. Nevertheless, she showed us a few properties and had arranged an appointment for Monday the 31st of July at 1PM. So myself and my friend, we strolled into the store as you would do for an appointment and we were asked to have a seat. So after waiting a little while the receptionists approached us and asked us if we had actually had an appointment. I replied yes of course that's why we're here. She replied, oh but she's just gone out with her clients for some viewings. So I replied so you're telling me that she had not taken us seriously and didn't book us in. The receptionist replied yes which was quite frustrating. So we were informed to wait an hour till she comes back. Therefore, we waited an hour and after an hour we were told by a man that also works at the worst estate agents I have ever been to that she will be in a meeting with me now, it's best you go home and I will get her to call you. So we listened and left. However, I'm sure you can guess what happened next. No phone call!!! Therefore, after this terrible service I have decided to write this review on how amazing KFH clerkenwell are, how they provide a world class service and how terrible Foxtons clerkenwell Daniella Fernandes is at taking care of her clients. In my opinion, this is not professional, it is slack. Not taking clients seriously and avoiding them? I will be writing a formal complaint to the directors of Foxtons.
However, I immensely value the service and KFH has provided me with an unforgettable experience which I hope to remember forever and learn of the service they had provided me with. Dominic Martin is a top man!
KFH was the complete opposite of what I have to say in this review. I was provided a world class service from the clerkenwell branch, which had left me speechless compared to how badly I was treated in Foxtons.
Awful experience. We have been lied to from the start, the contract between ourselves and the landlord has been changed after we signed the lease, they didnt provide contact details to the landlord until we moved what resulted in lots of troubles for us. The furniture listed in the contract and which we have seen during the viewing have been removed so we moved to an empty house with no beds and no other alternative accommodation. The house was filthy and the door broken so we were not able to lock it and missed our holidays abroad next day. Many many problems with this agency, who lies to you, take your money and then leaves you alone with no support asking you to THEN communicate all the issues with the landlord. What they do should be illegal. Beware of those guys!
I had a great experience with Foxton. I found my house through Sonya who took me around a few properties until I found the perfect home. She then liaised with the sellers and had the patience to answer all of my questions and come back to me in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend Foxton to those looking to buy a property in London.
