We have been most impressed by a member of staff of the Highgate branch that we have never met. Nara Nunes is the Office Administrator who ensures that all the certificates, documents and agreements are in place for the tenancies. She works to a very high professional standard while being helpful, patient and friendly. This time we will be using another agency and we’re very sad to not be working with Nara again. She is a gem.

As a landlord in Highgate since 2001, I can't recommend estate agents Golsdchmidt and Howland enough. I have often used their letting service over the last 15 years and found them extremely professional,courteous and helpful. On each occasion, they have managed to meet or considerably exceed rental expectations. For me, it is also important to find careful tenants I can trust with whom I can build a good working relationship, and here too Goldschmidt and Howland have come through for me.
Most recently, my tenants notified me they were leaving just before Christmas, leaving me facing a void until well into January. But I need not have worried. Letting Manager Marc Brahams found me new tenants to move in the day after the current ones left, 2 days before Christmas, at an excellent rent, even better than the previous one he secured for me. Somehow it was all sorted in time. I'm not sure anyone else could have done this, and I am grateful.

I rented a 2-bedroom apartment in Crouch End in July 2023 with Mark, and I was happy to have his help. He acted promptly, clearly and very professionally. For example, we scheduled a viewing for the day of our first call and did all things fast and clearly.
English is not my first language and I was concerned about possible misunderstandings, but Mark and his colleagues made sure everything was clear and understandable.
The entire process was very prompt. Mark kindly helped me carry out an additional viewing when I needed to clarify the dimensions of the furniture and take additional measurements. He specially came to the address at the end of the working day.
All the work of the agency and Mark's colleagues was also excellent. I also communicated with other agency managers who processed the deal, prepared documents, etc. I especially appreciate Chanel's work with documents and preceding the Tenancy agreement. Communication with them was also very comfortable, understandable, and productive.
Thanks to Mark and his colleagues, my tenancy deal was quick, easy and comfortable.
Today I live in a great apartment, in a lovely area. And I am grateful to Mark that this happened.

Adam at the firm was a pleasure to work with and guided us with our flat purchase. It happened to be not the most straightforward process and he was with us doing everything he could, very responsive and understanding of our situation (we were pregnant first and then with a small baby) to get things over the line. At no point did I feel pressurised - I was given information and time to make decisions about selling my property. The team were all equally well informed and knew what was going on with my sale. I didn’t sell through G&H, so this is a buyer’s experience and I can’t comment on their fees, etc. As a buyer, I found that they understood our requirements better than other agents in the area, showed us a curated selection of immediately relevant properties, and were not spammy or pushy. Nathan Taylor at the Highgate office was our main point of contact, and he worked tirelessly to help get our transaction from offer through to a successful exchange, despite a few tricky roadblocks along the way during the conveyancing process. He was always responsive, even out of hours, and made sure that any miscommunications or information blocks between solicitors were resolved quickly. I have no doubt he represented the seller’s objectives very well, and even though he was their agent he took time to understand our position as buyers too. Highly recommended.
