I sold my flat through KFH, completing in November 2019 and whilst I am grateful to them for finding a buyer in a difficult market I found the entire experience much more stressful than it needed to be due to their lack of service.

I initially listed with them in Aug 2018 and we received an offer quickly. However, through no fault of KFH the offer fell through. My agent then lost interest and delegated my sale to the newer members of the team.

I contacted KFH in Jan 2019 to complain that I had not heard anything for a month, and to discuss whether they thought the price needed to be adjusted based on the market. I was first told I was wrong as at the very least they contacted all vendors with their Christmas hours, and then they conceded that they had failed to contact me as there had been a disagreement on whose responsibility it was. They also did not offer me any proactive feedback on the price or give me their opinion on the market until I insisted - I would expect this feedback to be a core part of their service to vendors.

In Spring 2019 I gave notice to KFH based on the poor level of communication but received an offer 2 days before it expired.

A few months into this sale I was asked to supply exchange dates but then was told my purchaser had a small delay their side which should take a month to arrange. 6 weeks later I had to ask what the progress was (as I was planning my own move) and was told it had stalled with no idea how long it would take to fix. No-one at KFH deemed it important news to pass on. This was typical until I finally exchanged - no updates even when there were delays unless I, or the agent I was buying through, contacted them.

We recently sold our house in Forest Hill through KFH. Bradley, Javaid and Brian were all very helpful, they know the market very well and we are really pleased with the price that we got for the property.

Really impressed by Leon and Javaid at the KFH Forest Hill branch. Prior to selling my house, I was wondering whether to use Purple Bricks versus a normal estate agent. Really pleased in hindsight that I picked KFH. My house was under offer within 10 days and Leon was super responsive throughout the process even when a long chain was causing issues around the exchange date. KFH definitely deserved their fee.

Although I’ve never rented with KFH, the care taken in my flat-hunting experience has been impressively consistent. More specifically, Antony Brotha took extra time to understand what I was looking for without making me feel like I was a nuisance as other experiences have left me with other agencies.
