I originally bought my flat through Robinson Jackson 8 years ago and, after trying a couple of other estate agents this time round, returned to them.
From start to finish the process with Robinson Jackson has been smooth with Saphire, the sales progressor, being worth her weight in gold when handling the solicitors and other estate agents further up the very long chain with delay after delay. She helped keep me sane!
Highly recommend this company and would use them again if I wasn't heading out of the area.

The worst experience we’ve had as buyers with any agents in London. The branch manager is rude and pushy, they are uncommunicative (never pick up the phone, which goes automatically to voice mail), and it very much felt as if the process was anything but transparent. Our offer was formally accepted, but we were then gazumped and not given the chance to match the offer or find any way forward. These things happen, but there is a human side to buying a property and Robinson Jackson certainly did not show theirs. It is quite telling how different their approach is with sellers, based on reviews. A rather short-sighted approach given buyers in the area will inevitably become sellers - and we will not use or recommend them based on our experience.

The whole process was good, from inception Byron provided me all the key information i required and arranged for photos and quick listing of the property on all major online platforms. Throughout the viewing to offer point Byron and Simon were very supportive to both myself and the buyers making sure each parties needs were managed. I have just called the branch to get some details on one of their property in Sydenham and made a comment on a lease being too low for me of 95 years. The person who I spoke to given a quick response saying that's not low- people are buying properties with 85 years and good luck to your search than hanged the phone up on me! First of all guys you can't sell a property with this manner and I would have appreciated for a different approach e.i. lease can be extended- we can try to negotiate the with the vendor etc. Because I live in an area I will try to get in touch with the vendor myself.

Another great experience with Robinson Jackson after selling our 2-bed flat with them in Forest Hill late last year – Jay was very enthusiastic when we initially met with him in Summer 2021 and kept in-touch until we were ready to go to in the Autumn.
There was clear strategy to how our flat was marketed and just two busy viewing weekends later (we kept ourselves and our toddlers well out of the way!) the team had secured us a range of offers in and around asking price. Jay was able to discuss each one and gave his opinion on the pros and cons. He even helped us to secure our purchase to ensure a smooth process for both us and our buyers.
Saphire was very helpful in keeping things moving once we had agreed and made sure that we got everything over the line in February 2022. The progression service that Robinson Jackson offer has been key is a huge help both times we have sold with them.

I would like to say a massive thank you to the entire team at Robinson Jackson in Sydenham. They are a brilliant team and were great in their handling of both my sale and purchase. Jay and Byron in particular were so helpful and polite in organising viewings and negotiations on my behalf. They made everything seamless and were always open and honest about managing my expectations. They were never pushy or forceful and always professional and well mannered (unlike many other agents i had dealt with before). I had some delays and issues with my solicitor and almost lost my chain but Sapphire was really supportive and helped by maintaining contact with all parties, Ironing out any concerns and she managed to keep the whole chain intact through her excellent communication skills which resulted in everything working out. Viewings with Jay were a joy and his no pressure approach was appreciated when compared with other local agents. He was also great at keeping us posted through the offer process once we'd found our amazing flat.
Having our offer accepted we then moved forwards with the help of mortgage advisor Mohamed (fairstone) and progressor Saphire. When March hit and the world got turned upside down they were the only two parties in our chain that kept us on track and I believe a large part to why I write this happily from our new home.
Saphire in particular worked with us to find information and areas to move things forwards under the toughest of conditions, when the solicitors seemed happy to just let things drag on.

I, probably like you, have had awful experiences with estate agents in the past. I was dreading going through the process again, but Robinson Jackson absolutely blew all my preconceptions out of the water. They were lovely to deal with, very friendly and personable, of course utterly professional but above all HONEST & TRUSTWORTHY. They really were looking for the best buyer for the house, not the most money or to push the prices up. The manager Robert carefully communicated my circumstances to the vendor and helped me with my offer, giving me great advice. Not just trying to get the most money possible whether I could afford it or not. They sent me flowers when I moved in, and a birthday card, so sweet! But most of all, through the process I felt I could drop into the office or pick up the phone and mull over my thoughts with them. Buying a property alone, you don't have that other partner to bounce your ideas off and this hugely helped me. They have an in house person, Sophia, to progress the sale with the solicitors which kept everything on track and saved me from constantly chasing solicitors. And their financial advisor Mo is impartial. I found it helped my offer to go with him as Robinson Jackson and therefore the vendors knew that my mortgage offer was real. Everyone was great to deal with, quick, efficient and professional but friendly, and I will 100% go back to them with anything in the future.

Where another local estate agent had failed to get me ANY offers over 6 months, Jay provided consistently -quality viewings and a number of strong offers as well as solid advice and truly outstanding communication.
Robinson Jackson have a dedicated staff member to progress the sale; it was great to be able to contact the amazing Saphire King-Harris at any time to get an update or to join forces to get the process moving. Again, Saphire's communication was excellent; it was always a pleasure to speak to her.

If you are going to sell your house, do yourself a huge favour and use Robinson Jackson. We sold our property in Penge via them after getting a few estate agents to view our property. Jay was our agent and from the first moment he stepped through the door we knew that we were in safe hands.
Little things make a very big difference, for example, Robinson Jackson are the only agents that are open on Sunday and weekday evening. This makes a huge difference when prospective buyers are trying to organise viewings.
They also have the fantastic Saphire as their sales negotiator. We have had a tricky sale with solicitors further down our chain, but knowing we had Saphire in our corner, making the calls and sending emails to the right people at the right time made us feel in very safe hands.
By far the best agents I have ever used. If I was to move again in the area I would have no reservation about using them again.

I booked a viewing through Rightmove and met Byron at the flat. He was easy and funny and not at all pushy. He'd booked another couple of flats for me to see that evening but after we'd talked about what I liked about the first place, he already knew they weren't for me.
