Well what can I say , after being made homeless by the council we had no where to go me and my 19 year old son . See a property through leaders and Jodie was amazing putting my mind to rest that we can get it . Sarah brenland was amazing getting the property painted to a very high spec amazing . When we signed contracts on the day they said went to office early as have to work , they even made me a cup of coffee with a choice of milk ( who offers this ) Sarah was standing at her desk a great experience and Jack was so relieved ty Jodie pinion and Sarah white milk xx

Enquired about alot of places always get a call asking questions about income and a virtual tour after that don't hear another thing inless you keep ringing up every day. Also not good for landlords as before possible tenants have pulled out and they wanted me to reapply again. Also found out today I can't rent with them for what I need without a guarantor. This was said after about 6 applications and never said before

Leaders Ipswich are the worst estate agents I have ever used. The no-deposit scheme is a massive scam and a complete waste of money. Twice now, having vacated their properties and done a deep clean myself with my partner, then they send quotes for a further clean, and this is whilst a new tenant moves in, I continue to negotiate this "quote" for cleaning, which doesn't need doing. They then threatened CCJ, which forced me to pay them this fee as I didn't want to lose my perfect credit rating; I've spoken to other people who have experienced the same issue. If you pay an upfront deposit, they will deduct money if they find a spec of dust. Avoid at all costs.

I spoke with Vanessa in property management with regards to an issue with my key fobs and its been over 6 weeks and the matter is still outstanding. Vanessa was very rude and abrupt. It was the first time in 6 weeks asking for an update. I don't appreciate being spoken to like that. I have dealt with other colleagues in the branch and they were professional but Vanessa has unfortunately spoiled the reputation of the branch.

Abigail Williams has been most helpful recently with maintenance issues at Felnor Walk, Felixstowe - specifically getting replacement communal bins after the shocking fire of 29 th May - although this did take nearly 2 months.
Also at my flat getting replacement broken window catch and oven. Hopefully also velux window cleaning will also be given the go ahead. She has been polite & helpful in her communications, and prompt in replying to my requests & inquiries.

They don’t care about tenants, complained about poor conditions and yet when I finally said no more and moved out I was penalised and charged for it plus extras that were not even caused by me. I’m sure the landlord will be having a great time laughing with my money and not doing anything with the problems that are there.

Just looked on the property listing to see the let has now been agreed - really not very nice to find out this way. Very poor communication after being told I would hear back. Wouldn’t recommend.

Appears as though they are great for landlords but not for tenants. Property manager rude, dismissive and does not care. Been waiting for nearly 2 weeks for a refund of my deposit. Landlord confirmed 100% to be refunded but they needed me to confirm that amount too. Why would I argue that amount?! After living in the property for 3 years and looking after it well this is how I’ve been rewarded. My advice would be to speak to anyone but Freya. After confirming 3 times for the amount to be paid and the bank details, she still didn’t process the refund and blamed the accounts department for missing it. My thoughts are she couldn’t wait to finish work for the bank holiday weekend and didn’t send it through to them. Head office seem useless and uninterested too so wouldn’t bother with the company as a whole.

Been there for two years. When I moved in, internet was slow enough that you couldn't use Youtube on 2 devices at the same time. It was fixed a few months later (approx. 6 months) after pestering the agency/landlord. No CO detector in my room for more than a year even though the central heating/boiler was in a wannabe closet in my room and according to the law, the CO detector must've been there from the beginning, way before I moved in. Took them 2-3 months to get that installed. Mold in the bathroom because the insulation in the ceiling was non-existent and the extractor fan couldn't keep up with the steam in the bathroom. Wet patches on the walls in the living room which were disregarded for a long period of time. Agency in general not caring about tenants and being extremely slow in regards to any query and/or any issue that happened. There is a guy in the branch who is actually caring, but can't remember his name. I won't name my property manager as she was close to useless in most of the situations. If you have better options, go with other agencies.

The Leaders representative Tyler, was there at every stage of the process providing outstanding coordination and communication, backed by an office team to give key information when needed and more, delivering a ‘one stop shop’ for essential services when moving home. DO NOT USE LEADERS.
I had a number of issues whilst living in a property managed by Leaders.
To start with, it turns out the flat had no ventilation. Despite me opening the windows and purchasing a dehumidifier, the flat rapidly grew mould and the air filled with damp.
Almost all of my items were destroyed. Eventually some extractor fans were fit in the property. But it was too late. Furthermore, whilst I was living at the property, the boiler flooded the flat 3 times, causing the electric and gas to go. I had to sleep in a mouldy flat, freezing cold, on my sofa because the mould destroyed my bed. The mould also made me very unwell, to the point of hospitalisation. Finally, I was able to break the contact and leave.
I made complaints to leaders and the area manager which were ignored. I never had an apology for what I went through, in a house under their care.
I could write so much more! If you value your life, please please please do not use leaders!!!!!

Absolutely diabolical experience with the ipswich branch, from lettings agents who never return calls to managers who aren't forthcoming and honest to a property manager who acts solely on the behalf of the landlord and not in your interest, in particular Abigail I've never had such an upsetting and disgusting experience than dealing with this person, condescending and has the worse attitude when dealing with tenants it's almost unbelievable this person has this position, making accusations and decisions about a property without even visiting the tenants or the property once. In huge contrast however another property manager Vanessa couldn't be more opposite, absolutely wonderful property manager who takes time to visit properties and the tenants when issues arrise and acting in the interest of both the landlord and the tenants as property managers should do. I will say the Woodbridge branch have terrific staff, lettings agents and an assistant manager who genuinely tries to resolve issues. I would on the whole however never recommend this company

Terrible service, the property managers ignore you until the landlord calls or they need to contact you, other than that do not use these services there are a lot of letting companies that will take care of you, I’ve had friends warn me of Leaders and I wish I had listened please don’t make the same Mistake I did, this is not a trustworthy company, DO NOT USE LEADERS if your getting a property you can do a lot better.

Not even worth the one star! after getting accepted on everything and given a move in date, Two days prior to the move in date I receive a call stating it won't be going ahead anymore. leaving me and my friend in a situation to find a home within a week if not we will now become homeless. I don't like to use the NHS card but for both of us to be NHS workers and being promised a home on a date is so upsetting. Being told information can be amended and follow up with the office manager who was so rude just kept saying no and what done is done and even had the cheek to call a customer a liar! never had I been spoken to the way the so called office manager spoke to me. They do not care in regards to there customers. They can take the customers money very quickly but it seems to take them a very long time to return with no updates along the way. I will give the benefit of doubt that a lovely lady named Jodie who has been amazing with everything and was very helpful who I recommend anyone to speak to. STAY CLEAR OF LEADERS ESPECIALLY THE OFFICE MANAGER

I thought long before I came to make a comment here but unfortunately this is not going to be positive. I rented the room with Lea property solutions agency and thank God I never had problems with them regarding professionalism because they were always ready to help tenants. After a year and a few months Learders became our agents. And instead of reading the tenants' history and knowing who really pays the rent or not, they contact me three days before the 1st to say they were calling me because I'll have to pay the rent on the 1st. Not satisfied with the way I was approached by the agent who called, I said I would leave that house. I sent the contract cancellation letter and didn't get any response after 2/3 days so I had to call to find out if they had received my email. After confirming via mobile phone that they received it is that they would inform me how much I had to pay from the 1st to the 23rd, I did not receive any email from them on the 1st and I had to call because I did not want to pay any extra costs and I was ignored and they only sent me an email on the 2nd asking me to pay urgently... nothing professional. After leaving the house on the 23rd that happened Saturday they had to go see the house on Monday and say something via email if something was not in accordance with the contract I signed.. not getting an answer from them I had to call and rudely the agent said that she had already done the inspection in the room and that the deposit would be returned in 30 days without reading the contract I had with the other agency that says that the deposit has to be made by the agency after 14 days of the contract ending. I called again on the 9th, after 16 days that I had left because I had no communication from them and the agent in charge told me that she "was taking care of my deposit now". Today is already the 10th (17) days and I have not yet received any response from them or my deposit. Moral of the story is that they just want you to pay the rent but they don't want to return your money or be professionals and treat the people with respect they deserve. That's why I don't recommend Leardlers ipswich to anyone.

She was very accommodating, tailoring the time of the visit to fit in with my schedule. During the inspection I mentioned a few things related to general wear and tear. This is our experience of the service we recueved and how underhand the management are. We applied for a rental property marketed for £950 pcm we viewed the house after a lot of pushing for an appointment. We liked the house filled in all the relevant application. We offered to pay a years rent in advance and we both work full time. We was told we were unsuccessful upon asking why we were told the landlord had selected another tenant. The following week we saw the house advertised again £100 less pcm. Upon phoning up again and requesting an answer to why we were told the landlord wanted a single tenant with no animals. Of course leaders try and play their input down. The moral of this is since to find out the house has been let to a family with a pet dog!!! The word hypocrite springs to mind. It's a case of if your face fits.

Probably the most unpleasant people I have encountered in my life.
These people are obviously briefed from management level, to address those who are seeking to rent a property as second class citizens.
Do not use these people for anything connected to buying or renting a dwelling, if you do you will regret it.
They are simply the most unprofessional group of individuals you could meet.
Take no notice of the qualifications they may have after their signatures, these can be obtained from any cereal packet or lucky bag.
My advice, stay clear.

Well..... Leaders were a good letting agent but lately they only want your money! I had one of the best property managers ever! Got my repairs done quickly and didn’t worry about the costs etc but she left (Don’t blame her) and now it’s all gone down hill!!!
I have been renting with Leaders since 2017 and I can say I will not be renting with them again! I have one of the cheapest landlords! There going to replace 1 piece of carpet on the stairs as it is only 3 years old!??? They even asked if I’m okay with that, I said no and they replied well the landlords not going to be replacing the carpet!!!! The carpet has/was never fitted properly and has now completely faded and nearly falling apart, Yet as the rest is fine there only going to replace 1 step!! With new carpet that won’t match!!!!

I am one of Leaders happy customers. Being a landlord "on a distance" is not easy and you need reliable and competent property management staff to run everything for you smoothly, not so much when tenants are in as much as when the tenants change. The property has been managed brilliantly by Alice for the past few years. Recently we had a change of tenants and had to do a lot of redecorating jobs, both, inside the house and outside, requiring garden, electric, plumbing, flooring, redecoration and heating contractors. Alice was excellent in getting different quotation from contractors, scheduling works timely, getting them to deliver on time and managing the ledger and the whole process with competence and professionalism. On the re-letting front also had a very smooth experience with Natalie. Highly recommended for landlords willing to take away property management headaches from them.

I moved from the Midlands for a job in Ipswich and Leaders were really accommodating when I needed to be in the property before the date specified. Whilst living there for a year, Andrew Wyatt was extremely attentive - even sometimes emailing to see how we were getting on and if we needed anything from them (I’ve never had this before whilst renting a property!). In the space of a year we had the washing machine and oven replaced, both within a few days of reporting the issues. I would not normally write a review online however, having recently used Leaders (Ipswich) as the estate agent to sell mine and my wife's house I felt obligated to write them a review due to their excellent and friendly service.
Leaders went above and beyond what I expected from an estate agent. Having lost our original buyer the day after we were due to exchange, Leaders managed to arange 4 viewings for our property the very next day and managed to sell the house again the very next day.
I feel it necessary to provide a special thank you to James and Lindsey who both were overseeing our sale. They are friendly and professional. If I ever want to sell a house again these guys will be the first people I contact.

Today I found a property I liked on Rightmove and sent the agents an email. Within literally ten seconds (literally!) I was on the phone to Ryan. Within two hours I was viewing the property with Natalie. Within another half an hour Ryan had talked me through the application process and I had applied for the property. After the lethargy and rudeness of other agents in the area, the excellent service, speed and communication of Leaders Ipswich was an absolute breath of fresh air, and from the moment I answered the phone, Ryan was personable, efficient and incredibly helpful. 10/10 A+ would find a property to view with Leaders Ipswich again (although hopefully now I don't have to for a while!).

Ryan is fantastic at what he does. He helped me and my partner find our first home. With what can seem like a stressful time was made very easy going once we met Ryan. We arranged a viewing from seeing a advertisement online and ryan met us at the property. We soon realised this place wasnt right for us. Ryan being rushed off his feet already that day told us he would get back to us with some different suggestions that were more suited to our needs. I returned home and got a phone call within an hour! Saying he has found TWO properties he wanted to show us that day. We met him at the first property and then directed us to the second. We were blown away with the houses, but were definitely more settled with the second. We can't thank ryan enough. Lorraine who looks after the property management here is brilliant. We have a few properties with other agents and she is just so efficient and professional compared to others we’ve used. Can’t recommend her highly enough. Nothing phases her and she comes up with solutions to problems rather than passing the buck to the landlord all the time. 5 stars well earned. The initial meetings with Leaders were fine albeit very expensive. But when we got to the property we found that the property was not in the same state we had viewed it. We found that almost every carpet was dirty and had not been cleaned as we had been told. Windows that were plastic not glass, the dining room/kitchen floor had suffered a flood of some sort from a dishwasher that had not been plumbed in correctly, almost every window had been painted shut and due to some of the wood being rotten unable to open them. Two outhouses and the shed full of rubbish and old furniture, a large water stain in the kitchen on the wall below were the bath is, the bath had damp under the plug hole area and the side panel was half off. All of this after Leaders has supposedly checked the house three days before and not seen any of this. All of this and we continue to find issues with items either broken or unusable, and paying what we feel is over the odds for a house that is still bringing up issues. Maybe I should contact the landlord directly.

I love this house but my please is if you can inform my Landlord if my rent happened to be more then 600£ it will be hard for me to pay it because for this moment with every my next contract is more expensive but i want to stay long in this house that's why i care about it like my house!

What a joke of a company the house we rent from them need a whole new roof with over 13 clear holes allowing water to enter the house . Andrew is very rude and don't care about the people living in this house we have the local council involved the house has 7 cat 1 problems and 5 cat 1s if I could upload pictures I would ....... please avoid this company at all cost

I have seen few reviews and i would agree to most of them when it comes to arranging a house for you. I was always delighted with proffesionalism and services given for the house i rented from leaders ipswich. Sale team and property management specially andrew was always on toes and help full.
I would recommend you to choose leaders for all kind of tenency and rental property requirement, but ensure you have clear and precise discussion on process and charges before vaccating or checking out the house.

Will never EVER use Leaders again. Absolute shambles. Take months to sort out issues. Was told I would have to pay for an electrician fault, because their electrician can't do their job. A month later on a Saturday evening, electrics completely went out as a result! Calling the out of hours number asks you to leave a voicemail and no one calls back. Had to call the Felixstowe number, which works. I reported this last year (as the door wouldn't unlock and we were locked out) and was told, well it should work!
When reporting issues, it takes months to fix and I have to chase (usually with the response, what was the issue again?), otherwise nothing happens. At one point, Andrew told me, he had 200 properties to manage and that I should leave him alone and not to chase for updates!
Oh and just recently, I came home from work to find they had let themselves in the property with potential tenants. After they asked if I wanted to be present for viewings, which I said yes and could they please tell me when they'd like to do viewings. No warning, I just walk in the door to find their agent and the potential tenant right in front of me.
There's plenty more, like the fact they said I could have a dog, then later they emailed to say no (even though they confirmed their email gave me permission). Or just the fact that anytime I've complained or spoke to anyone, they are rude and uncaring.
If only I could give them 0 stars.

I spoke with a very well mannered woman named Bettina Goode on the phone last week in regards to my shower being faulty, even though Miss Goode does not usually deal with my property, she was very helpful by passing my information to the realavent people to sort out my problem. I have now been contacted by the relevant people who will fix my shower.

Having rented in Ipswich for many years through various letting agencies I can honestly say that Leaders are the worst I have dealt with as a tenant. All they are after is fees, they do not care about maintenance issues and they even tried to put my rent up without the landlords knowledge! Most of the staff are patronising on the phone and don’t like it when you know your stuff and can refer to relevant laws to back up your point. Avoid using them, I certainly will in future.

Very poor communication. I went to office made a offer they said they will let me know after speaking with Landrod. That's fine called next day any updates still they didn't heard from Landrod. Now this property gone to another tenant and same price as I made offer.
I had same sort of problem with Felixstowe leaders.
This situation cost my time and money and most importantly i wasn't looking anywhere else because i was happy with property.
Hope leaders improve there communication skills.
