I called today to arrange a viewing for a property and was very disappointed by the way I was treated. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the conversation.
He asked who my current landlord was and which estate agency I had previously rented through. When I told him I had rented through Samuel Estates, he responded by saying he had never heard of them in a dismissive and disrespectful manner. From that point on, his attitude was unnecessarily rude and made me feel unwelcome.
I was simply trying to enquire about a property viewing and expected to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Customer service is an important part of any estate agency, and unfortunately my experience was very poor. Based on this interaction, I would not recommend dealing with this agency.

From start to finish, Ertunc at Bairstow Eves was outstanding. As first time buyers, the process was daunting but Ertunc kept us informed every step of the way, chased all parties when needed and stayed positive even when things got difficult. The chain had several challenges but his persistence and professionalism made all the difference. We finally completed and couldn't be happier with our new home. I had an excellent experience purchasing my home through this estate agent. From the very beginning, she was professional, friendly, and genuinely focused on helping me find the right property rather than simply making a sale.
What really stood out was her understanding of what I was looking for. In fact, I hadn't originally planned to view the home I eventually bought, but she suggested it based on our conversations and what she knew I wanted. I'm so glad she did, because the moment I viewed it, I fell in love with it. It turned out to be the perfect home for me.

From my first meeting with Jamie I knew I had made the right choice for the estate agent to sell my property. The whole team were excellent, they were all very friendly and professional, and they sold my house in record time.

The staff was always arranging viewings last minute and asking us to do the viewings twice on a late Saturday afternoon nas Sunday evening. There waa no mobile contact number to call easily. There was no extra effort to try amd sell the house beyond routine advertising. Once I withdrew the house from the market the manager who was calling me every daybto put the hous on the market did not even call or email me back personally. Just got a generic email from their parent company. Felt the whole approach was very impersonal.We know from other agents that our road is sought after and they get queries.. But Bairstowe did not seem to have much idea about what made our house and street an attractive prospect.

Chloe was amazing throughout my house purchase, especially as a first-time buyer. She consistently kept in touch with me, even while I was on holiday, and worked hard to chase the seller’s solicitors due to the property being sold through probate.
Chloe was always accommodating with my numerous visits to the property, including arranging access for my surveyors to carry out a Level 3 survey. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process, making my first-time buying experience a genuinely positive one. They even provided a first time buyers box as a welcome gift after I bought my property which was nice.
I would highly recommend Chloe’s services moving forward.

All round great experience with the Folkestone team. Professional and great with communication! A great selection of properties and they were on it when it came to keeping me informed about any and all potential houses based on my preferences. Their in house advisor was a great help and we couldn't have got on the ladder without his help! And as you may have guessed, we have a new home thanks to these guys 'n' girls! Well done team and thanks again..
