From the initial viewing of a flat I was interested in to finally picking up the keys on completion.I received the friendliest and most helpful service from Hunters in Scarborough. I dealt with various members of the branch who were all extremely patient and courteous. I heartily recommend them.

Buying a house can be very stressful especially when the issues that arise are avoidable. It’s taken 8 months to purchase a house with no chain.<br>If it hadn’t have been for the hard work and supportive nature of hunters and all the staff at the Scarborough office I’m sure we would still be waiting.<br>They truly went above and beyond to help us with the sale. We would highly recommend them in the future.

Had our property valued at 115k last October, thankfully we went with another estate agent that valued (January) and sold for an extra 44k in March, that is a huge difference that allowed us to get a much better family home. How there was such a difference in market value I do not know.

We recently bought our first home through Hunters and honestly cannot fault them. We were able to view the property immediately after being listed online, placed our offer which was accepted the same day, before having a smooth end-to-end buying process over the following few months. Brilliant communication for all parties involved (including our conveyancers and mortgage broker) making it super easy (and less stressful!) for our first house purchase. Thank you!!

Matt from hunters was very professional and approachable.
When meeting at the property he spoke highly of hunters and how they would market the property.
He gave us confidence that the property would sell.
Matt followed up after our meeting to see how things were going.

I was with a different agent for 3 months and made the move, immediately the it was so much better.
Hunters gave me a realistic valuation, the pictures and advertising for my property were so much better making the place look great and I had more viewings in the first week compared to the 3 months with the other agent.
It only took 7 weeks to find a buyer.
They are prompt with communication and have done a great job working with me to sell my property.

Update: having moved out of their property they did hit me with a spurious £270 "cleaning fee" which included items that I'd left in better state than I'd received them. This kind of practice is unfortunately common, and I'm dropping 2 stars because of it. We did eventually settle on £150, but not before they refused my offer of half price and tried to pressure me to paying the £270 because "this will proceed to TDS and will take weeks/ months to conclude." This is plainly manipulation and it probably works for a lot of tenants, but as a tenant you need to know that TDS has resources to help you here. Don't let them bully you, keep a careful record of the state you leave the property in and push back if they try to make an unfair charge.<br><br>Original review, still valid based on my experience of their management of the property: Unusually perhaps as a tenant I'm so far pretty impressed with Hunters. We've received great help from Timea in getting settled in, and I'm pleased to have a contact who is responsive and proactive in managing the property.
