This letting agency manages the property next door to where I live. In that property, there lives a mother, father and three young children under the age of ten. THIS LETTING AGENCY/LANDLORD HAVE FAILED TO MAKE URGENT REPAIRS TO THE FRONT DOOR OF THE PROPERTY, CREATING A FIRE AND SAFETY HAZARD FOR ALL THAT LIVE INSIDE. THE FAMILY ARE UNABLE TO USE THE FRONT DOOR AND ARE FORCED TO ENTER AND EXIT THE PROPERTY VIA THE BACK GARDEN.<br><br>THIS HAS BEEN A DISREPAIR ISSUE FOR OVER A MONTH, SINCE THE FAMILY MOVED IN. BOTH THE FAMILY’S AND MY REQUESTS FOR REPAIR HAVE BEEN IGNORED.<br><br>God forbid, if there was a fire to the rear of the property, this family has no safe fire escape route because MANN (and landlord) has not carried out the necessary urgent repairs to the front door for over a month.

When we first rented out our property through this agency two years ago, everything went smoothly, so I never expected to be writing a review like this.<br><br>After one of our tenants moved out, we requested an updated tenancy agreement. The landlord approved the change, and we were told that a new agreement would be prepared. More than three weeks later, we are still waiting.<br><br>I have contacted the agency several times by email and phone and have also left voicemail messages. On one occasion, I received a callback and was told that a response to my email was being prepared, but nothing ever arrived. Since then, there has been complete silence.<br><br>I understand that administrative work can take time, but ignoring clients for weeks without any update is simply unacceptable. A quick email or phone call would have been enough to explain the delay.<br><br>It's very disappointing to see such a significant decline in communication and customer service. Based on our recent experience, I can no longer recommend this agency.

I had a great experience with this agency when I first rented my property two years ago, which is why it’s so disappointing to be writing this review.<br><br>I recently asked for an updated tenancy agreement after one tenant moved out. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the agency has been very disappointing.

Estelle has been helping us with finding a property to rent, she has made the whole process stress free and smooth. We have never had to chase her about anything, she is always on the ball and well organised keeping on top of everything for us. 5 stars for Estelle and the team!

Communication was ok. Was difficult to get information straight away, but to be honest Harry has had an up hill battle taking over the lettings side and is doing a great job. In general the team has been great. I would recommend using them but would encourage a patient attitude lol!

Unfortunately, our experience with Mann Sales and Letting Agents Strood, particularly with Anne Underdown, was very disappointing. Throughout the purchase process, communication was poor, updates were often delayed, and we frequently felt misled or unnecessarily kept waiting.<br><br>Despite the seller being genuinely motivated to complete the sale and progress matters quickly, we saw very little proactive support from the agency to help move things forward. Instead of helping coordinate between parties and reduce delays, the process often felt slower and more frustrating because of the lack of clear communication and follow-up.<br><br>As buyers, we were consistently chasing for updates ourselves, while dealing with unclear or sometimes contradictory information. Buying a house is already stressful, especially as first-time buyers in the UK, and we expected far better support, transparency and professionalism from the estate agent.<br><br>Overall, this was a frustrating experience, and I believe there is significant room for improvement in communication, honesty and proactive case management.
