This letting agency manages the property next door to where I live. In that property, there lives a mother, father and three young children under the age of ten. THIS LETTING AGENCY/LANDLORD HAVE FAILED TO MAKE URGENT REPAIRS TO THE FRONT DOOR OF THE PROPERTY, CREATING A FIRE AND SAFETY HAZARD FOR ALL THAT LIVE INSIDE. THE FAMILY ARE UNABLE TO USE THE FRONT DOOR AND ARE FORCED TO ENTER AND EXIT THE PROPERTY VIA THE BACK GARDEN.<br><br>THIS HAS BEEN A DISREPAIR ISSUE FOR OVER A MONTH, SINCE THE FAMILY MOVED IN. BOTH THE FAMILY’S AND MY REQUESTS FOR REPAIR HAVE BEEN IGNORED.<br><br>God forbid, if there was a fire to the rear of the property, this family has no safe fire escape route because MANN (and landlord) has not carried out the necessary urgent repairs to the front door for over a month.

When we first rented out our property through this agency two years ago, everything went smoothly, so I never expected to be writing a review like this.<br><br>After one of our tenants moved out, we requested an updated tenancy agreement. The landlord approved the change, and we were told that a new agreement would be prepared. More than three weeks later, we are still waiting.<br><br>I have contacted the agency several times by email and phone and have also left voicemail messages. On one occasion, I received a callback and was told that a response to my email was being prepared, but nothing ever arrived. Since then, there has been complete silence.<br><br>I understand that administrative work can take time, but ignoring clients for weeks without any update is simply unacceptable. A quick email or phone call would have been enough to explain the delay.<br><br>It's very disappointing to see such a significant decline in communication and customer service. Based on our recent experience, I can no longer recommend this agency.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with the agency has been very disappointing.

We’re currently going through the moving process with Mann Lettings in Chatham, and after using several letting agents over the years, they’ve been absolutely exceptional.<br><br>They’ve been honest, kept us informed every step of the way, and have always had the information we needed rather than leaving us chasing updates.<br><br>They’ve also been incredibly accommodating, allowing us to view the property again and measure up before moving in. With a toddler, being able to plan ahead has made such a huge difference to us.<br><br>Moving house can be stressful, but the team have made the whole experience feel so much easier. We genuinely couldn’t recommend them highly enough.<br><br>Thank you for all your help so far! ??????

I would not recommend Mann Ashford. They were not pro active and did not keep in contact to let us know what they were doing in terms of our property. No one answered the phone. They were disinterested and all they wanted to do was reduce the price. Never phoned us we had to phone them. They achieved no viewings on our property. A very poor performance and no service.

I have had a fantastic experience with the staff at Mann 15 Centre Way, Locks Heath, Hampshire, SO31 6DX. Lauren the first contact I had with them could not of been kinder after the loss of my mother and took her time to explain things to me so that I could understand the sale of mum's property. It was put on the market at an agreed price and was sold within 48 hours and from start to completion was just under 3 months. Laura Sales manager has kept us informed on every stage of the sale the rest of the staff in the office have always been helpful and we can not fault the service we got the property is now sold and new owner moving in. I can only thank them all for a great service and I will recommend them to anyone who has a property to sale or rent out and if your buying go look in the window and pop in they will help you.
