I have entrusted my property with Northwood for around 6 years now and although initially I was happy with the service, policies in the business have changed and has make them less flexible especially when it comes to paying for maintenance in my property.
Communication is key in any business and I feel Northwood are failing. They are quick to communicate when money is needed but not so quick to address concerns that are highlighted if it has a financial impact on them. I hope they improve soon

I'm Antonino I recently rent a flat in edinburgh from the agency northwood and I found a really helpful and competent staff expecially Corinne the agent who managed my flat and help me to move in I definitely recommend this agency

Called us to say their vendor had “accepted” our offer. We received no email confirmation, they did not ask for solicitor details and no communication since then. They called the following day to say there’s been a higher offer and that’s been accepted. Just seemed like our offer was used as leverage to get higher from elsewhere. Unethical and unprofessional. No further email correspondence and no opportunity for us to match the offer. Will be avoiding buying from here.

Purchased our home through Northwood. All of the staff were always professional and friendly and were well informed as to how our purchase was progressing, ironing out any snags on the way.

Avoid this Company at all costs. 4 times their tenants have flooded 2 flats below causing £30k + worth of damages and not once have they had the decency to apologise. The 2 affected flats have a key worker in one and an 85 year cancer patient in the other. There were 4 tenants in a one bed flat contravening tenancy rules. 2 were removed but 1 has moved back in so still contravening tenancy rules. Because they are receiving rent they have no interest in what the tenants are up to.
The lady that owns the flat lives in Spain and has not made any contact either.
A sham of a Company and if you are looking to let your flat, avoid these at all costs.

Very happy with the service offered by Northwood, particularly since under new management. As a landlord, I find their communication is excellent, they regularly update us, guide us through the process of having tenants, and help to resolve any issues. We feel reassured knowing they are experts in this area

I would not recommend this agent due to a lack of contact with any progress on my property and not any acting upon any of my recommendations or instructions. There was no service and ended my contract prior to the expiry day with no fees because of their poor service. AVOID!

Reactive and unobtrusive agent.. I have previously been made to feel like a socond class citizen because I am not a home owner.. This is not the case with Northwood
