24th Jan 2025 (14 weeks ago)Had to chase up for feedback after every viewing; it was never provided unprompted. Had to chase twice when floorplan was wrong on Rightmove. Had to ask multiple times (and appeared to be ignored) when at end of the contract I asked for our property to be taken off the market. Property not sold by end of contract and switched to an alternative estate agent.

From the first viewing to securing a new buyer after our initial sale fell through, the entire team - Dominique, Lara, Matthew and Mitchell - was incredible. They handled a whirlwind of activity with calm, professionalism, and a genuinely supportive approach. We’d already taken the leap of buying before selling (never again!) and were under an extremely tight deadline, but their experience and reassurance made all the difference. They kept things moving, kept us sane, and somehow even made it enjoyable. During our first chat, it was clear that he offered good advice based on solid experience and knowledge. We soon had lots of viewings followed by a successful sale. My wife and I appreciated all the advice and guidance given. The communication with the staff was first class, particularly Emma who always kept us up to date and pushed things along for us. We appreciated the approach and professionalism of all the staff, and with their help and that of their recommendations for a solicitor, we are now getting settled in our new home since moving around 3 weeks ago. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

As a landlord who always wants to do the right thing by the tenant and property, I would not be without Sean. Communication is prompt, proactive and efficient; he will always pick up the phone and offer as much time and advice as is necessary. A rare aspect in business these days. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Michael and his team have been great! they slowed the process down and really tailored a strategy for me and my needs.
