1st Dec 2023 (23 weeks ago)Great sales pitch. Arranged a lot of viewings, but had a different representative from Haart each time and they didn't always communicate with each other about the property features. The house was over-valued and so we ended up accepting a lower offer that was closer to the valuations given by other agents. Overall happy with the service, and would recommend.

They drew up excellent brochure with good photos, regularly made it a featured property on websites, and dealt with all the viewings (there were many) in my absence but kept me fully informed with helpful feedback.
23rd Jan 2020 (4 years ago)After having contacted a number of agents we decided to choose Be moving soon . We found Mark's information regarding our sale and the details to be very professional. Throughout the process his service was exemplary. Selling a home is a very taxing experience and Mark's help was wonderful . Each time we contacted him we had a reply directly . We thank all the staff for a job well done.
29th May 2020 (3 years ago)I have used the services of Carter Jonas in both Cambridge and Suffolk. They have repeatedly delivered excellent professional service when the markets have been both buoyant and not. They go the extra mile and are incredibly accommodating. I only once used another agent who over promised and then under delivered. I changed to Carter Jonas again (they were very gracious) as a result I had a buyer within days of the instruction.

22nd Nov 2016 (7 years ago)The agent was pretty good with communication, they were friendly and professional. Unfortunately they didn't manage to get any viewings for my property at all. I transferred to an alternative agent after about 6 weeks
24th Jun 2019 (4 years ago)If you are a landlord DO NOT USE THIS FIRM for your management. I'm a landlord and I asked for ByChoice to manage my property. In the time they have managed my property I have had 2 tenants and on both occasions ByChoice failed completely. First time I can understand but second time shows there is something fundamentally wrong with ByChoice. They take a management fee but I can assure you do not manage ANYTHING. Their quarterly inspection reports are an absolute joke - it is an email/document with a 1 word sentence advising that they visited and there is nothing to report. I can guarantee that they do not carry out any inspections as they have no idea what is going on at the property and the tenants do not see them. My first tenant decided not to pay rent and ByChoice didn't report this back to me until I reported it to them ----- apparently this is my fault and I should have reported earlier. Once the first tenant left, we obtained the next set of tenants as ByChoice was incapable of finding anyone and due to the experience of the first tenant as well as the fact I had no confidence in them actually inspecting my property I asked for photographic evidence which they AGREED TO. A year on and I have had no photographic evidence. When escalating the issue to the Director, Emma Turner, I was told that this again was my fault and we should have chased from the beginning which we had been via email so we have evidence of this. What tipped me over the edge is the fact that they started to use SCARE TACTICS with my tenant after I expressed my displeasure with their management. They told my tenant that I was going to raise the rent and also was looking to sell my property which left my tenant looking for a new home. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND MALICIOUS TO SAY THE LEAST! Emma Turner is the Director of this firm and honestly speaking is incapable and a disgrace to the Director title. Harsh as it seems she has no idea what is going on (I feel sorry for the inexperienced staff that work there as they are inexperienced/come across as they are inexperienced), unprofessional, doesn't return phone calls, doesn't stand by her commitments, doesn't stand by what her employees commit to, doesn't acknowledge failures even when there is evidence hitting her square in the face and worst of all, just fobs you off to the complaints department to avoid having to take any responsibility. Save yourselves the hassle and the management fee - I've definitely been paying for a non existent service for 2+ years.

They have handled the viewings and kept us up dated at all stages.

2nd Feb 2024 (14 weeks ago)I really can not fault Exquisite Homes, They did everything perfectly, the brochure for my house was a work of art, it was glossy and made more like a book, in comparison with the tatty photocopied sheets I had from some of the estate agents who were offering houses I was considering buying. Their photographer was amazing and produced fantastic pictures and, it's the pictures that sell the house in the first place. The team who sold my house was amiable and efficient. Even after the sale had been agreed the Exquisite team, chased the solicitors and pushed the sale through, the only thing I had to do was sign the contract. If you do not use Exquisite Homes to sell your home, you only have yourselves to blame.
