I have been a tenant in a property managed by Tucker Gardner for the last 2.5 years.
On the few occasions where I have had problems with the property they have been responsive and resolved the matter promptly. In addition on two occasions when I have needed assistance with matters at my property whilst I was abroad my property manager helped with their resolution, for which I am extremely grateful.
I have been thoroughly impressed with every person at the agency with whom i've had contact, but must express special gratitude to Vincent who has been exceptional.

In a hurry I decide to rent a house from Tucker Gardner. This is the first time I am giving a negative review to an agency. These are the following unpleasant experiences I had with Tucker Gardner:
Initially, I tried to discuss the need for the extra insurance which I wanted to be dropped. In response I was told multiple times firmly that it is necessary and non-negotiable, so I bought the insurance. However, during the signing contract or at any time of our tenancy, no one asked me about the insurance.
On the first day I was not given the full set of 2 keys for me and my partner. "Locking just one lock is safe enough", I was told. Missing key is one thing, such comments are always making me happy when you pay so much for an agency.
Despite the large costs charged by the agency, I moved into a house which was far from being ready to be rented. All chests of drawers were falling apart. You could see that someone tried to glue the parts together before. 80% the chests just fall apart the moment we touched them.
Then, the only lock for which we had 2 keys in the door was not working correctly. It was bend slightly which prevented the door from being closed. You had to slam the door in order to get them 'tick'. Of course, this slamming was further bending the lock...
While getting the contract, some of our questions were replied to with rude comments. This never happened to us before.
At the end of the tenancy, we were told that there were 2 things which were not professionally descaled - which was fair. However, for this descailing they charged us over £90?! Even though it was just a tiny bit of the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink. Very unpleasant and nasty way of doing business.
We were told that we also left a burn mark on the floor, to which we promptly replied that none of us smoked and everything was electrical. We were 100% sure that it was not our doing. As a reply we received a rude message with a picture "to jog our memory". At the end, they found older pictures and admitted that it was not us. However, the way the accusations were thrown at us was simply rude.
