12th May 2026 (12 days ago)Amazing experience! Agent: Sophie Copley was amazing throughout the starting process. She replied to emails quickly and helped us feel confident in what we were signing up for as first time private renters. It was a quick process and we were able to find an amazing house that fit our needs. Experience: Other organisations in Cambridge aren’t as attentive to what we were asking for, after a long wait of seeing houses that weren’t looked after well and the agents not enthusiastic, cheffins was a breath of fresh air. Clean house, clearly well looked after and ready to be viewed! Staff: They are kind and always looking to help even if it isn’t their property or duty to help with. I cannot recommend enough. Thank you ??????
14th May 2026 (10 days ago)Overall, our experience renting through Leaders was mixed. The process was slower than expected, which caused unnecessary stress and uncertainty during the move. To be fair, the staff did try to reassure us that our application was progressing well, but communication and delays were still frustrating at times. One part of the experience that I did not appreciate was the pressure around purchasing tenant insurance. After paying the holding deposit, I was told that declining the insurance could negatively affect our application with the landlord. This did not make much sense to me, as the insurance was for our personal belongings rather than the property itself, and in the end the landlord was perfectly happy for us not to take it. On the positive side, Charlie, who showed us the property, was excellent throughout the process. He was professional, well prepared, knowledgeable about every aspect of the house, and very clear in his communication. It was obvious that he genuinely cares about doing his job well, and he helped make a stressful process feel much smoother.

Her support has been greatly appreciated, and we would definitely recommend her services.

Megan McFarlane was incredibly helpful and assisted me throughout, from the initial enquiry right through to moving in. Communication was always prompt and professional. Highly recommend Abbotts and Megan in particular — a truly seamless letting experience.

He was always available to show us around the property while we decided if it was the right move for us and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had in purchasing this grade2 building. He liaised quickly & effectively between us & our seller keeping us all up to date at all times and answered all our questions. I genuinely felt Mark cared & thanks to him we are now settled into our new home. I highly recommend Mark.

18th Dec 2025 (22 weeks ago)the valuer was excellent and gave us confidence that the house was correctly valued. However, for whatever reason, we never got the impression that the people that viewed the house were serious buyers.
19th May 2026 (5 days ago)Still Waiting for Deposit Return Over a Month After Moving Out We vacated our rental property on 16th April and the landlord confirmed on 5th May that the property was left clean and in good order, with no deductions proposed from the deposit. Our repayment request and bank details were provided on 8th May and we were advised payment would take “around a week”. Despite repeated follow-ups by email and telephone, we still do not have the deposit funds, a payment date, or any meaningful update from the deposits team over a month after moving out. We have now been told there is a backlog due to staff absence, however communication and handling of the situation have been extremely poor throughout. Very disappointing experience for what should have been a straightforward deposit return process.

Always friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping us through the process. Buying and selling can be incredibly stressful, but Dan was always contactable, quick to respond, and reassuring. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his communication and support really made a huge difference. A lovely person and a fantastic estate agent, we’re so grateful for all his help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

We spoke regularly to Mike Bidwell who was our main contact and he was very proactive in trying to move the purchase along. Mike also went out of his way to resolve an issue after we'd moved into the property, which we are very thankful for. Based on my experience I have no hesitation in recommending Exquisite Homes to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
